I’m happy to recommend Ms. Hope Rosen and the ShounBach law firm to litigate any family law matters. I contacted Ms. Rosen at one of the low points of my life. I had just learned my wife of 7 years and the mother of my three minor children was having an affair. Ms. Rosen navigated me through the separation, helping me custodial rights to my children. When my former partner went low and removed the children from the state and accused me of horrible things, Ms. Rosen worked with my criminal defense attorney to refute the allegations. Ms. Rosen astutely worked through this acrimonious divorce and negotiated a marital settlement agreement. She understood and respected my priorities, winning 50% custody of my children, preserving my of marital assets, offloading a large portion of the debt my former partner created, and helping me keep full rights to my substantial retirement. She also wrote the agreement in such a manner that it protected the children from the inevitable future random guys my ex-wife would run through their lives, and my ex-wife’s next attempt to remove me from the children’s lives. Less than a year later, both happened - my ex-wife tried to move the children to Maryland, in with her newest man. Unfortunately, over the coming months, Ms. Rosen and I would spend many hours in court on motions for emergency custody, and also for a 2-day custody trial. But it was then that my already great appreciation for Ms. Rosen only grew as I saw her in her natural environment - a court room. Man was she fantastic! She navigated court proceedings with mastery, understanding which issues would resonate with the court. She clearly understood how to present a motion and evidence, and “beat” various other attorneys my ex-wife hired. Ms. Rosen was masterful in examining and cross-examining witnesses. And she and her colleague Michael Armistead and the entire Shounbach teamed prepped me for testimony and helped me do well in that setting. Her closing arguments were masterful and already resonates with each judge. No matter the motion or the setting or the opposing counsel, I always felt confident because of Ms. Rosen’s experience and understanding of my case. Even before a few of the hearings, opposong counsel came up outside court and asked Ms. Rosen technical questions pertaining to the proceedings. I knew at this point I had a master attorney not just an exceptional one. Ultimately, thanks to Ms. Rosen and her team, I won primary custody of my children, child support, and an award of attorney’s fees. If you are in need of a family law attorney, I strongly recommend Ms. Rosen. She’s the best.

I've dealt with several lawyers in my time unfortunately, (sorry just being honest), and I've met a couple who were anyone's absolute worst nightmare. Mr. Krieger though was the opposite. He was always understanding, willing to work issues out, and I felt that it was more than just a job/money/title to him. Now one of his employees that we were initially assigned to, she was not what we thought she was. And when she thought she found out some information was intentionally kept from her, she silently used that against us and hit us with ridiculous amount of cost on the bill all the sudden after several months of the normally accrued fees. (We should definitely still do something about this.) But Mr. Krieger being the owner of his firm, handled it to the best of his ability. We know there wasn't much he could actually do, especially with her all the sudden leaving the firm in the middle of all of this, but we didn't feel like he just believed the claims that she was so easy to believe, and listened to our side as well without us feeling judged or shamed. I'm sure throughout the two year long cases, (yes two separate ones at the same time pretty much), we were very frustrated, confused, and angry a lot of times, and he understood all of that. We initially hired him because of his avvo answers and we don't regret it at all. It's a shame there was that hiccup but all in all we're happy with Mr. Krieger and Katarina who took over our case when the other lawyer did us wrong. He has a very broad knowledge and doesn't ever pull the salesman pitch and false hopes. We would definitely hire him again.

I am forever grateful to Michelle Kaminsky for handling my very contentious divorce, guiding me through the process and for being such a great advocate for me! She worked tirelessly under very trying circumstances, especially since my ex-spouse was also an attorney and absolutely ruthless. She was very thorough, and both she and her paralegal, Abigail, were very professional and friendly, which helped me during the one of the greatest trials of my life- literally and figuratively. Michelle is an attorney of the highest caliber who I'd recommend to anyone.

Steven is a gifted and talented lawyer.
