I met Mr. Scholar just by chance, and he has now been working with me to recover an outstanding debt. He has been very accessible by phone and email, always replying very quickly to requests--something that is in short supply with many attorneys. During in-person meetings, he seems to be quite engaged and takes the time to hear out my concerns. So far, of the several attorneys I've crossed paths with, Mr. Scholar looks like the best fit for my situation. A suggestion to others looking for the right attorney: give yourself time to meet several before going with one that's a good fit, I didn't find Mr. Scholar until after speaking with perhaps a dozen different attorneys, and as mentioned, even then it was a chance meeting.

Sam Scholar was my attorney for a custody issue recently. While we did not receive everything I was asking for, he was able to help mice have my case heard justly, and changes in circumstances acknowledged and added to my divorce decree. Sam is very professional and capable and sympathetic to his clients.

I dealt with Brian recently, and it was a pleasure. He is very knowledgeable and effective, charges a fair price, and is also just a very friendly and helpful guy. As a fellow lawyer (I work in intellectual property law, so I needed expert help on some immigration matters), I can confirm how rare it is to find a genuinely nice attorney, and this guy is the real deal.

Have spoken to him a few times over the phone - he does not seem to convey a feeling that he cares about a client's plight. Kind of a take it or leave it feeling comes across.
