My DUI case was a complicated and daunting matter due to my specific circumstances and the stakes were high considering the high probability of losing my job. Buta was always there to listen & advise. But she also went above and beyond helping me to think about my life as a whole as I moved through the process. It's only as a reflect back now a year and a half after my initial arrest that I fully appreciate her actions. Buta always had time for my calls and never minded staying late at the office to accommodate my work schedule given the time that I had already missed on the job. In the end she was able to negotiate a wreckless driving charge for me and I completely avoided having to have an "Inter-lock" system installed on my car. This would have been a huge expense and can often damage your vehicle long term. Having spent time with many others (who all have their own unique DUI stories) as I moved through the mandatory "treatment" prescribed by my sentencing - - I have a very high appreciation for what Buta was able to accomplish for me legally and for her very humane empathy during a time that can be extremely demoralizing.
