If you have found yourself in the midst of a high conflict divorce and custody case, like myself, you absolutely want John Whitbeck in your corner. John is very knowledgeable, responsive, assertive, and a brilliant litigator. My case has had numerous twists and turns but through it all John has guided me successfully every step of the way.

I don’t know that I could give high enough praise to John Whitbeck and his team. Mr Whitbeck came highly recommended by a friend. James Beglis was the lawyer in this practice who helped me through my divorce. I first met him in 2018 when he was still in independent practice, and I was contemplating a divorce. Since the first time I met him, I liked his professional no-nonsense approach. In 2021 when we were finally headed for a divorce, I talked to a couple of other lawyers but either they manipulate you or try to counsel you. I chose to go back to James and signed him on as my lawyer. By then he was at Whitbeck Bennett at a higher position which is a testimony to his abilities. He is very time-conscious and even when I got emotional and would go off, he was kind but firm about sticking to the task on hand. I really appreciate that. He doesn't waste your money. He absolutely knows his stuff; he was able to find relevant case laws that would strengthen my case. I highly recommend James Beglis as a divorce lawyer to anyone going through one of the worst possible times in their life.
