My experience with the Daugherty Law Firm was nothing short of amazing. David Daugherty is trustworthy, honest, and thorough. I’ve never had to hire an attorney before so I was skeptical going in. After my initial meeting with Davis, I quickly realized I made the right decision in retaining his services. He is a man of his word and he made my husband and I extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. I recommend David and I would retain him again if I ever need representation in the future.

TOTAL SUCCESS! My wife and I hired Mr. Don Daugherty, four days before a custody trial for my seven year old son that had been set for over eight months. From the first contact with Mr. Daugherty I knew I had reached the right attorney. He met with me on a Sunday morning and immediately began informing me of the legal process, the proper legal terminology to describe what I was asking for and what was in the best interest of my young son. By noon the next business day Mr. Daugherty had reviewed the court’s file, determined what judge we would have and reviewed all the material I had left with and sent to him. At the second meeting, which my present wife attended, she too experienced the same feeling that we had the right attorney. Mr Daugherty reviewed in court process in detail , the specific statutory factors the judge must consider in deciding whether there should be a change in custody, what the judge would do as to court procedure and cautioned us that this judge, although an outstanding one, had / has a reputation for being harsh with witnesses who cannot answer questions directly. Answer the question! Mr Daugherty insisted on that in all our responses to him and it paid off at trial. In court Mr Daugherty was respectful and kind in addressing the judge and opposing party and in so doing received the same respect. In direct and cross examination of the mother Mr. Daugherty was able to get the mother to admit significant facts and events which bore directly on the judge appearing to have no hesitation in awarding me primary physical custody. Mr Daugherty was very forceful and sincere in arguing my case and my son is now safe and secure in my loving home. My sense of satisfaction cannot be adequately described. Don Daugherty was my lawyer through this firm. He did a great job helping me with a contentious custody dispute and divorce. I knew that he truly cared and did everything in order to help me with my situation. I chose him based on a recommendation and I could not be any happier. Some people complain about costs and feel that they're paying too much for too little with their laywers, this was most definitely not the case with him. For over a year and a half he would answer my phone calls both day and night (even on holiday's). I will use this firm for other legal services, if needed in the future

I recently had The Daugherty Law Firm, specifically Don Daugherty represent me in getting custody of my children. Given that I am a father trying to get custody, I was looking for an experienced and aggressive attorney to represent me and that is exactly what I got. What I was not expecting was to find an attorney that not only was aggressive but that also took a very personal interest in my case. Don was absolutely wonderful in not only representing the best interest of my children, but also in guiding me through some very difficult aspects of my case, and did so in a very timely manner. The best part is that in the end I now have custody of my children and they in a safe and happy environment now. I can not thank Don enough for what he has done for my family.

Don and Kate have been wonderful over the past 5 years. I won my LONG custody battle. I have used Don 4 different times and Kate Twice. they are both super sweet.
