I was recently involved in a very contentious custody battle. I had the very good fortune of obtaining Kim Luckey of the Daugherty Law Firm as my Legal representation for trial. Kim Luckey has a reputation as being “one of the best lawyers in Prince William County”. Kim more than earned that reputation in the handling of my case. Throughout my case, Kim demonstrated her in depth knowledge of the law, her ability to think “outside the box” and respond to whatever was presented to her by opposing counsel. Kim totally embraced my case from beginning to end and made every effort possible to make a very difficult situation bearable. Kim kept me abreast on the progression of my case, and discussed strategies with me so that I would understand what she was doing and why. Kim never sugar coated the situation, but her determined personality and hard work kept me believing in her and in my case. In the months, weeks and days leading up to trial, (which lasted two full days), Kim was always there for me. Kim actually took the time to give me a quick call she was at an amusement park with her children just so that I would be informed of an important development. Kim and the entire Daugherty Law Firm treated me like FAMILY and for that I will be forever grateful to them. The Daugherty Law (Don) and especially Kim Luckey have exhibited how a client should be treated by a law firm. There is a famous quote that says, “When you can do the common things of life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the World”. Kim Luckey has truly commanded the attention of the world! If asked to rate Kim Luckey and the Daugherty Law firm on a scale of 1-10, I would give a rating of 100!

I am eternally grateful for David Daugherty at the Daugherty Law Firm for his services. He is competent, confident, and a pleasure to work with. I could not be more pleased with how he handled my case and I strongly recommend him.

Hands down the best law firm in Prince William county. Even though I only worked with one attorney there, it was as if you hired the whole law firm the way other lawyers and their staff all pitched in to help in various ways with my case. I worked with Kim who is so knowledgeable and empathetic in her approach to working for the best outcome in case.

I'm highly satisfied with Don Daughterty. Don took over a mess after we fired our last lawyer. He quickly mastered the facts of our case and had the opposition's lawyer settling in our favor. Don will tell you like it is and he gets results. Everyone I interacted with at The Daughterty Law Firm has been professional and extremely responsive. If you need a lawyer, you need to get Don on retainer before your opponent sees this review and takes action before you do.

The Daughtry Law Firm is fantastic! Don is very factual and to the point. He doesn't beat around the bush and will tell you like it is. His staff is on the ball and very personable. Don took over my child support case and wound up getting more support for my daughter! I HIGHLY recommend, The Daughtry Law Firm. So much so, that I made Don cookies and brought them to his office!

They truly deserve their 4.8 star rating. I had a question concerning custody and Mr Daugherty gave me the perfect advice and didn't charge me. Called around and other attorneys wanted $100 up front fee before talking to me. Stop looking around a hire this team. Very courteous and professional and caring. All attributes needed in a Law Firm.
