Drivers driving through VA, beware..! If you get a reckless driving ticket in VA, you have come to the right place. Leave it to Mr. Leavitt to fix the same. Virginia is NOT for lovers, but is the road to CLASS-1 Misdemeanor for speeding at/over 80mph; this can leave a permanent scar of a criminal record with a lot of undesirable consequences if not tackled with the right legal help. I was in a daze when charged with a ticket for driving at 87mph in a 70mph zone near Dinwiddie; was always under the impression that you had to drive 25mph over the posted limit to be considered reckless, but realized the seriousness of my stupidity in VA in a couple of hours, looking up the issue/fine details on the web. I looked up numerous legal options but through some gut feeling decided to engage the services of Mr. Leavitt and I am definitely glad that I did. Mr. Leavitt spoke to me/responded promptly to each of my emails/concerns himself and helped get the charges dismissed. I hired the services of Daniel 2 days after I got my ticket 84 on a 70(clean driving record), he had a flat rate and I did not have to show up for court (I was referred to him through another lawyer I found online). He got me with a defective equipment $100 and court fee $71 which I found to be pretty good as he said it could have been $150 max for defective equipment. Another thing, is that Dan said it would help the fact I was a veteran, so for anyone with a ticket, keep that in mind. Bottom line, when I hired Dan it took off a lot of stress off my shoulders as he told me he would take care of everything, and he kept it personal as I always communicated with him and not a secretary; he also said that even if the case would drag or extends for whatever reason it was already included in the flat rate, which is a plus.

Working with Mr. Leavitt was an absolute pleasure. I was stopped and ticketed for doing 83 in a 70 (which is reckless) on I-85 in Brunswick County. He was extremely prompt in replying to my e-mails and answered all my questions concisely and left no room for confusion. I was charged with Reckless Driving for going 83 in a 70 in Greenville VA on a clear sunny day with the flow of traffic. (I'm from Vermont, so to me this was far from being "reckless"..) However, the charge is a misdemeanor on my permanent record according to VA law, so I had to fight it. I called another lawyer in VA who recommended me to Dan Leavitt, so I gave him a call. I'm from northern Virginia and was heading down to North Carolina when I got a speeding ticket. I was doing 83 in a 70 but it was still reckless. I was in a car accident in Mecklenburg County and the state trooper gave me a reckless driving summons. Thankfully I did some research early and discovered I should hire a lawyer.
