Dan is a very knowledgeable attorney and was always quick to answer all my questions. I am extremely thankful to Leavitt & Martin for getting my speeding ticket reduced to a defective equipment non-moving violation with no points reduction. I would definitely recommend them.

As a foreigner, I don't know speeding will cause a Misdemeanor in VA. Thankfully, Leavitt & Martin, PLLC dismissed for me.

It's not fun getting a ticket in Virginia. I didn't know that reckless driving is a felony in VA! By next day, you'll have about a dozen unsolicited requests for representation. Every lawyer living/breathing in that County will ask for your business - citing their ticket-clearing record. I reached out via email to another attorney for recommendations as they didn't cover the county and the forwarded my email to Leavitt & Martin PLLC. We exchanged emails, asked for an engagement letter - which I subsequently signed after having my attorney review it. Throughout the process, they kept me informed, guided me to the right driving school, and submission of my Driver's Improvement Program (DIP) class. Suffice it to say, following their advice, I was able to have my case downgraded to simple speeding vs reckless endangerment & misdemeanor. VA DIP class is really informative, and though it may sound onerous, it's absolutely worth taking (not to mention required when the Judge so stipulates).

I received a reckless driving speeding ticket which is a criminal misdemeanor carrying severe possible penalties. When I called and Mr. Martin himself answered the phone, I took it as a good sign that turned out to be correct. He didn't use the scare tactics of other attorneys I called that told me the worst-case scenario of how severe the penalties were. Clearly, I already knew that and that's why I was calling. Mr. Martin explained what we would do, I did everything he told me, and I ended up not even having to appear in court. Both Mr. Martin and his associate Richard Wiley were courteous and professional in all my interactions with them. How refreshing to be so pleased with a service rendered! Of course, after taking that driving course I intend to never need a traffic attorney again. However, if anyone else does I give Leavitt & Martin my most earnest endorsement.

Out of state high speed case was reduced all the way down to Improper Driving because I did everything Dan and his team advised me to do! The communication and professionalism throughout the entire process was #WorldClass!!
