I cannot stress enough that your search for a lawyer ends right here! Mr. Martin was amazing. Very professional, personable, informative and just down right a great guy! What seemed all doom and gloom with the possibility of this case being life altering, we could not have asked for a better outcome. His understanding and compassion was genuine and I thoroughly believe had it been a different lawyer, the outcome would not have been as miraculous as it was!!! Mr. Matney is an awesome lawyer! From the moment I chose him to represent my case, I knew I had made the right choice. He and his staff were always in contact with me keeping me updated. I was given a ticket for speeding in a work zone late at night outside of work zone hours. This ticket would've given me a huge fine plus possible reckless driving. Not only did Mr. Matney get the ticket reduced to 1-9mph over, he also agreed to go back to court to appeal the case. Ultimately, he was able to get my case completely dismissed!! I also wasn't able to appear in court on any of the dates given and he was very accommodating to my very busy schedule. His pricing is also extremely fair in comparison to other firms in Hampton roads. I highly recommend Mr. Matney and his firm for speeding ticket cases.

Mike Tillotson stands out as one of the outstanding DWI lawyers, not only in Virginia but nationwide. I have had many opportunities to learn with Mike at national seminars and from him when he sponsored seminars on Virginia's breath test machine. Earlier this year I received a reckless driving ticket in a construction zone. I contacted a couple lawyers before deciding to go with Mr. Matney. He took my case and was immediately very helpful in getting it resolved. We went to court and they extended the hearing to take place a couple months later. Mr. Matney gave me detailed instructions on what I should do to prepare for my next court appearance. Having done all he recommended me to do, we went back to court and the case was dismissed! I could not have hoped for a better outcome. I will recommend Mr. Matney to anyone who needs a lawyer in the future. Five stars for sure!
