In 2010, we discovered our home was built with a significant amount of defective Chinese Drywall. To remedy the problem, we had to move out of our home for nearly 8 months to essentially demolish the interior of our house to the studs, then rebuild. Since none of these expenses were covered by our homeowner’s policy, we engaged the law offices of Richard J. Serpe, PC to represent our interests in Virginia law suits and a national class action lawsuit. Given the country of origin of the primary defendant, we never thought we’d ever recover a dime. After nearly 10 years, this complicated case finally reached a successful conclusion. To say we were stunned by the successful outcome of this national class action suit as well as the previous Virginia suits and the fact that we were nearly made whole for our out-of-pocket expenses is an understatement. As this sad case has finally drawn to a close, we cannot thank Mr. Serpe enough for his honesty throughout the entire process, his dogged persistence, determination, attention to detail, professionalism, and the business risks he took over the past decade on behalf of those of us afflicted by this product.

Mr. Richard J Serpe and his firm represented me in the national class action settlement with Taishan Gypsum Co. Ltd. Perhaps it is best described by me as "my Chinese wallboard issue" that I had at my still owned property at the Braemar Creek townhouse complex in Williamsburg, VA. After 10 years, the case was finally resolved and my final settlement check was received in April 2020. Throughout the lengthy process I was kept informed as key steps were taken with a number of responsible parties. This firm does not communicate at all.

Glasser and Glasser is extremely unprofessional and disorganized. They clearly love paperwork and court dates and have no interest in helping their clients. The firm is difficult to reach via phone or email. Assuming they actually respond to any inquiries, they will not leave a message and leave it up to the respondent to call an unknown number. #ambulancechaser

How do you expect anyone to pay off a debt with the crazy interest rates, fees, etc!? 2k paid later and I’m taken back to court and right back where I started. To hell with this establishment. Don’t deal with them if you can avoid it.
