Mark was very professional and very easy to work with. He tells it like it is and does not make promises that he can't keep like most other competitors do in my opinion. He also is very assertive and not afraid to challenge almost anything. For his outstanding professionalism, his courtesy, and what I mentioned above I am giving him a excellent rating and also recommending him to all of my associates and friends. If you want someone that's going to win or try super hard doing it then you have the right person.

I hired Mark for a speeding ticket I received, 40 in a 25mph zone (4 points). His communication via email was excellent and answered all of my questions within the day clearly and concisely. I could not attend the court date so Mark represented me instead. The ticket ended up being reduced to a "Town Code Section-Failure to Pay Full Time and Attention." Because this is a town code, it won't even show up on my DMV driving history! The result was even better than I could imagine. I highly recommend this lawyer. Throughout our email conversations, I could tell he knows exactly what he is talking about. Best lawyer I ever hired!

I hired Mark on a personal matter after recently relocating to the area. I shopped around and did my due diligence on a bunch of local attorneys to figure out who was the best fit for me and my situation. I chose Mark because he was very affordable, experienced, personable and smart. It turns out that he was way better than I could have ever expected and delivered an outcome that blew away my expectations. He walked me through the process, explained key information, worked with me to craft the right strategy, set my expectations accordingly, provided me with sound advice and kept me up-to-date with where we were at in each step of the process. He absolutely overdelivered and I am extremely grateful to him and satisfied with the outcome. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I agree with all the other 1 star reviews on this law firm. Truly traumatic experience. These people do not care about your case. I hired this firm to help in the most difficult time of my life hoping they would take a load off. Instead I had to babysit them every step of the way. They turned that difficult time into a lingering nightmare. Hiring this firm is by far the biggest mistake of my life. I think it’s interesting that all of a sudden they have many five star reviews in the same month.

I have only had great experiences with Sam Leven. He was professional and responsive. He answered all of my questions and offered objective advice. He also followed up with me several times when I didn't stay in touch with him while I was waiting on the other party. I appreciate that he didn't forget me even when I'm sure he was very busy with other cases. He is knowledgeable and honest. I have recommended others to Sam and will continue to do so.

UPDATE: PSA: Do not hire this law firm! I was recently contacted by another former client of Roy’s who wanted to know how to protect themselves in writing a truthful review. “In my opinion” they had a similar experience that this firm is still garnishing money from clients and providing poor representation. I posted this review for many years on Avvo to help inform others of my experience with the Baldwin Law Firm. Avvo recently changed their guidelines and removed my review. I'm re-posting to here since Google allows transparency by the public. Mr Baldwin failed to provide a written agreement for his service. I believed I hired him for a flat fee which I paid up front. After my dissatisfaction with his performance, I replaced Roy and Sam with a better lawyer and they issued an excessive bill the following month. After I disagreed with the extra charge and asked for the written agreement, Baldwin responded with more monthly bills that included interest charges. When the bill accumulated more interest, he filed a lawsuit against me in the middle of my other legal proceedings. His first lawsuit was dismissed because there was no written agreement. He re-filed in a higher court to get the judgement he wanted. He started garnishment during my appeal and after I moved. After paying him, I felt extorted and learned a valuable lesson to stay clear of lawyers like him. Hope this helps someone avoid a bad situation getting worse.
