Elizabeth Vaughan is meticulous in her work. Her composure and excellent presentation is noteworthy. My experience with her has been amazing. The group staff handled everything well and kept me in the loop regarding all communication. Thank you for everything.

Because my first lawyer had to quit the firm, we had some initial difficulties. My new attorney is handling my case brilliantly, and she is honest about what would be the best course of action. Although going to court can be challenging and stressful, knowing you are not alone might be reassured by having an excellent attorney at your side. You can rely on Hatley if you need legal advice. I had an intro call with Rebecca and she never followed up on the information she said she would. After calls to the office and a few follow up emails over the following month, the only option I was given was to set up another introduction call with her. She then declined to provide the base service around estate planning (which is listed on the website and she previously stated she did all the time and would give me information around). Avoid.

Update: I contacted Melone Hatley and was referred to a client concierge who escalated my issues. They kept me in a holding pattern for 4 months telling me they were looking into my concerns. After repeatedly sending her messages, they just sent me an email to state that they were done reviewing and I have no resolution. My initial review stands and I will continue to find new ways to warn people against using this firm. DO NOT USE MELONE HATLEY!!!!!! ———————————————— If I could rate Melone Hatley law firm with negative stars, I would do so without hesitation. My experience with them has been an absolute nightmare, and I strongly advise against entrusting them with any legal matters. Initially, I had a lawyer whom I trusted and valued highly. However, after she left the firm unexpectedly, I was handed off to Eric Schell, and that's when everything spiraled into chaos. From the outset, Eric displayed a shocking lack of interest in my case. During our initial meeting, he barely bothered to gather details about its history, necessitating me to resend all the information I had previously provided to my former lawyer. And to add insult to injury, I was charged yet again for his inadequate "review" of my case. Communication with Eric was practically non-existent. I never received copies of documents sent to opposing counsel in advance, and obtaining copies of responses required incessant requests. Eric's incompetence was glaringly evident when he subpoenaed the wrong employers for my ex, demonstrating a fundamental lack of understanding of my case. His unprofessionalism plumbed new depths when he consistently arrived late to court hearings, offering feeble excuses like traffic delays, despite traveling in the same direction to the courthouse that I was also going without delay. This chronic tardiness severely hampered our ability to strategize before hearings. The progress of my case under Eric's representation was virtually non-existent. I remained clueless about the status of my child support case, as Eric failed to timely appeal the original decision, leading to significant financial losses due to excessive child support payments. Adding insult to injury, my appeal for the child support case was denied due to a bond I allegedly owed, which Eric claimed he never received notification of from the court. By the time he became aware of this, the window for appeal had passed. Despite reaching out to the law firm's customer service for assistance, I was promised someone would investigate, but I never received any follow-up. It has now been 6 MONTHS since I went to court for child support and have not been able to get an appeal despite a complete change of circumstances in my financial and custody arrangements. The law firm recently assigned a new lawyer, however, this new attorney has proven to be equally unresponsive to my emails and messages, further highlighting the firm's utter disregard for their clients' concerns. I'm at my wits end with this. In conclusion, Melone Hatley law firm exemplifies everything one should avoid in legal representation. Their negligence, incompetence, and apathy towards their clients' well-being have resulted in excessive legal bills, financial penalties, and a complete lack of progress in my case. Steer clear of this law firm unless you want to endure a harrowing ordeal and financial losses!

Working with Melone Hatley to update my estate plan has been a successful process and great experience. Specifically, Claudia and Arian have been very supportive, responsive and sensitive of my time and being personable in understanding the things I had looked to accomplish during my communications with them.
