I hired John because I had been separated for a few years and then things got complicated. I decided finally to get a lawyer and I chose John based on his reviews and profile. I'm very glad I did. He helped explain the complex, in simple terms and ultimately ended up saving me money in the long run with his guidance. He and his staff kept me up to date each step of the way, which eased my mind. I would recommend him highly and without hesitation.

I needed a law firm to represent me in a very traumatic divorce. I phoned several highly recommended Richmond firms, and was surprised to be put through immediately to an attorney when I phoned Barnes & Diehl. Robert Harris handled my divorce compassionately, efficiently, and was very, very thorough. I cannot imagine surviving the whole process with anyone else. From the administrative assistants, to the paralegals and then with Bobby himself, this very personal matter was treated with care and concern. No question was too minor or trivial for them, and responses were immediate. I can recommend them, and especially Mr. Harris, without reservation.

I sent an inquiry through the Barnes & Diehl, P.C. Website on Saturday. Cathy Patton was in the office that day and responded to the email and we set up an appointment to meet with Irene Delcamp the following Monday. Ms. Delcamp put me at ease with respect to a recent seperation. Fast forward, things have worked out and the matter has been satisfactorily settled. I feel Ms. Delcamp went the extra mile with respect to her care and diligence in getting this matter done for me.

I used Craig Sampson in 2015 for a very sensitive divorce and custody matter. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and diligently Mr. Sampson handled my situation. He was able to calm my worries and achieve the results that best met my children’s needs and my own. I would highly recommend Craig Sampson to anyone in need of direction through a troubling time such as my matter.

Ed Barnes and Alicia Finley helped me through a very difficult and emotional divorce. I don't know how I would have done it without them. I would highly recommend them to anyone - very professional, knowledgeable, and got great results for me.

After using Alicia Finley with Barnes & Diehl Law firm in 2013, I recommend you stay away from this Law Firm. Alicia Finley was so bad I asked Eddie Barnes for another attorney and at first he denied a new attorney. After I showed him what Finley did and didn't do Eddie Barnes appointed another lawyer. The second lawyer came at the end of my case and my X-wife got everything she asked for. All I got from Barnes & Diehl was a $47,000 bill and my X-wife lawyers bill was $12,000. The only thing Barnes & Diehl is good at is "Billable Hours". After all the negative comments I've seen about Finley, she still works for Barnes & Diehl. As My Sign says: THINK TWICE ABOUT CALLING BARNES & DIEHL, YOUR CASE WILL DEPEND ON IT.

Like it was stated in previous reviews STAY AWAY from this place. The administrative Kathy was very rude I called previously and didn’t get a return phone call . When I did finally get through to her office after I was told I could be helped by the Secretary all the administrative could talk about was money and after I told her that money was not a problem I just needed help she kept saying no I cannot take the case and did not have a real reason . I honestly felt like I was judge by the way my voice sound ! Because she had no reason at all not to take my case after I continuously asked her why she just kept saying because I can’t it’s too much .Its like she didn’t believe I had any money for a lawyer . That was the worst service I have ever had. And I wish I had of seen all the negative reviews before even calling .

My experience with Barnes and Diehl was very positive from the start when I consulted with John Karanian. John is a very thoughtful and competent lawyer, who always had my best interest in mind. I always knew I was in good hands, because of him I now have primary custody of my five year old son. John is a solid lawyer who practices nothing but the best. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of divorce or child custody lawyer. Now I am able to have peace in my life, to focus on raising my son.
