Sandra was absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating when I reached out regarding an issue with a previous landlord. She help me feel confident in my stance, explained the laws so that I understood, and she coached me through the entire process. Her responses to my emails were through and swift which helped a lot with my nerves, never having to work with a lawyer before. Sandra was not only knowledgeable, she was also validating during tense moments! We accomplished our goal with a consult alone which was amazing!! We ended up getting our money back after an emotional few days and Sandra was there through the end ensuring we handled the check and final correspondence with our landlord properly. As a RVA resident and small business owner, I can't thank her enough for her support and legal council!!

Ms. Bal will forever hold a place in our lives as someone that cared as much about our grandson as if he were her own. She is a compassionate listener, abundantly knowledgeable, holds to a moral high ground and is always honest in her perception of how the facts are going to play out in court. She is a no joke attorney! She took me on as a client to help me with a custody battle and was patient and would explain something to me if I didn’t understand it!! I hope that I won’t ever need her for anything again but if I do she’ll be the lady that I call!

As a recent review noted, after meeting with them I was asked for a large sum of money without signing a retainer or given any information regarding whether they could help me or not. After a week and a half they did one very small totally unnecessary task, so I told them I did not want to use them. I got a refund of less than 10% of the money I gave them. I felt extremely taken advantage of. Very unprofessional and very unresponsive with an explanation.

I wouldn't recommend this company because I changed my mind within a week after I left a payment. But it took me longer to get my refund and I didn't get it all. After I was given the run around my refund.

After 31 years of marriage, I had a nasty contested divorce case that lasted over 7 years. I had two lawyers before I retained Ms. Nupur Bal; they did not do much in my case, especially my 2nd lawyer who cost me thousands of dollars and all I got was a lot of stress and some emails for a whole year. That lawyer made no progress. Once I hired Nupur, the whole case started to be on the right track. She is exceptionally professional and hard working. She focused on my case and targeted finishing this protracted case. I spent a year and a half with Nupur because of my difficult ex-husband who did not comply with discovery, subpoenas, or even multiple court orders. Nupur was patient and was able to deal with all the obstacles in my case. She knew how to handle opposing counsel, even when my ex-husband hired another new attorney at the last minute. Nupur identified areas of my case that needed court intervention and she was ready to file motions and go to court. She was well prepared in court, which I believe made a lasting impact on the judge. She also knew when to negotiate and mediate certain other aspects outside of court. She is truly an excellent attorney who is honest and trustworthy. She is wise in her advocacy and courteous in her communications whether it was with opposing counsel, the judge, or with me. She dealt with my case as if I am a member of her family. She is tough when it comes to advocating on behalf of her client and she is equally as sweet and gentle when it came to communicating with me. This was comforting to me as I went through this difficult ordeal. I want to thank her deeply, as well as her paralegal, Dottie Stebbings, and the rest of their staff. I highly recommend Nupur Bal.

I am very happy with Mr Page Mizell he went over and beyond to help us out. We had very Serious charges Felony and Misdemeanors which Carry out long time jail if convicted.Mr Page Mizell is an Excellent Attorney and we are lucky enough to have him in our side.
