Promptly returns phone calls

He communicates really well, and in a timely manner. Very understanding and listened to what I had to say about my situation when I got a speeding ticket. Knowledgable and got me off with a non-moving violation.

Very good group of lawyers

Mr. Shirkey was assigned to me as a court appointed attorney in the middle of a crazy what seemed to be a losing battle. He came alone and did everything in his power to turn tjings around and has given me all the hope in the world for the outcome I so desperately need. He is always there to listen and makes time for me as well as tells it like it is. He is by far one of the best attorneys I’ve had the privilege to work with and I will be personally hiring him myself the next time I need representation.

Mr. Shirkey did all he possibly could at my trial. In our initial interview, he was honest in his assessment of my case, provided a detailed outline about his process and approach, and bowled me over with his sense of humor. A great combination of human-ness and ability!

My husband and I have been very pleased with the help that Mr. Shirkey has given to our daughter. He has been extremely easy to work with, very responsive to phone calls and emails, and has taken time to explain legal information. My husband is a retired attorney so he and Mr. Shirkey have had 'lawyer' conversations but Mr. Shirkey has always made a point to explain what they were discussing so that I could understand. He was able to support our daughter and get her the best outcome for her case. We feel very fortunate that Mr. Shirkey was assigned to our daughter's case!!!!

Paid $240.00 for a consultation, could not speak to anyone until this was paid in full, which is fine. My appointment was at 2:00 and Justin came down the steps from his office at 2:15 PM. I spoke with Justin who advised that I had a case, and that in order to move forward I'd have to pay 1500.00 before anything was started, just to have our initial meeting cut short by 10 minutes, of course he asked if I had any further questions. I was hoping to move forward with his help, but was advised that since I was in such a hurry and that he was just too busy, that he could not get back to me within a time frame that could work for my schedule. In his words, "I understand your concern about timing, but I’m running a busy law office and I don’t appreciate having time constraints set for my responses." If I'm paying you or have paid you, I'd like to feel as if you care about the urgency of my situation.

I highly recommend this lawyer, very understandable and humble. He always made sure I understood everything through the process. Very helpful in hard times.
