Navigating the complexities of divorce, particularly when children are involved, can be very challenging. Having a knowledgeable, experienced, and attentive attorney is absolutely essential. After working with Caitlyn Stubbs for over a year on several different matters, I can say with absolute certainty that she exemplifies all of these qualities. Ms. Stubbs is the fourth attorney that I have worked with since my marital separation in 2010 and subsequent divorce. While the other lawyers were knowledgeable, experienced, and varying degrees of what I would consider “effective”, I found them all to be lacking in terms of their attentiveness. Each of them delivered on the legal mechanics of the issue at hand but did not give me confidence that they truly understood, or cared to understand, the situation. My interactions with them often left me feeling as though I had to re-explain and re-articulate details or otherwise coach them toward what I considered to be the right outcome. Ms. Stubbs was laser-focused on the legal issues as well as my specific concerns. In contrast to my prior attorneys, she took the time to fully understand the nuances and intricacies of the situation. I first hired her in early 2017 for help with a support-related matter. I was impressed by her approach and happy with the result, so when I was faced with an unexpected emergency custody matter a few months later, she was the obvious choice for legal representation. The custody situation, which at the time I am writing this review is drawing to a favorable close, has been very complex and personally very challenging. At every turn and with every obstacle, Ms. Stubbs provided critical guidance, responded quickly and comprehensively to my questions, and demonstrated a sincere commitment to a positive outcome for me and my children. My experience with Ms. Stubbs, and the Livesay & Myers team overall, has been fantastic. Mr Pelt helped me restore my Gun rights. He was polite and very helpful. We even had to go to court twice and he didn't charge extra. He knows his stuff and is very good at his job. Fully recommend.

I highly recommend Brittany Carper and her law firm. She always stayed in contact with me about my fiance and worked very hard on getting done what needed to be. Even with her being as busy as she is, she would stay in contact with me. Had many meetings with the prosecuter till we got what we wanted. Ms. Stubbs, along with paralegal Mr. Hall, provided me with great service throughout a tough family situation. They helped to provide guidance throughout the process and helped provide peace of mind and information during a difficult time. We ended with the best possible outcome and I would absolutely recommend Ms. Stubbs.

Very unprofessional, smug and completely unwilling to discuss with the client. He told us we couldn't afford him. I guess we should have made sure to state our bank balance at the start of the conversation. Charged me $150 to tell me he wouldn't write a simple cease and desist letter for a defamation case. Mr. Pelt gave patronizing and uninformed advice. I guess he thought I was too young to be taken seriously. Called a real shark up north and they read me the law that stated I had a case, paid the retainer the same day, proceeded to win the case. If you want to speak to a know it all, close minded individual who has no time for you go to Jason Pelt. His unprofessional attitude is reflected in his assistant as well. She could hardly wait to hang up the phone on me. It was such an extreme encounter we were half laughing and half angry in disbelief.
