Best lawyer in town hands down!! Mr. Doummar is very well known In the Hampton Roads area. Let's just say when I went to seek justice for things an ex-girlfriend accused me of, Mr. Doummar and I sat in trial for an hour and a half. All four charges were found not guilty! If you want the best possible outcome from an attorney, Richard is the guy to go to.

I had gotten myself Into a jam late this summer which involved me getting my first DUI. Never being in trouble before or getting arrested, I was so shaken with the entire situation and absolutely did not know what to do. “Happy” was referred to me by another lawyer that I had previously talked to before talking with him. My very first day meeting with him about my case, he made me feel beyond comfortable, and finally had made me feel like I was in good hands, so I had to hired him right then. Once things got down to it in court , “Happy” ended up working out getting me one of the best deals , and also made me feel like this won’t be a lingering thing in my life. I walked out of the court room with my expectations blown from the water. I immensely recommend “Happy” and his law firm with out a doubt. THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!

Ive had some time to contemplate writing this review as my case was several weeks ago. I can honestly say that Doummar and his assistant didn’t genuinely give two cents about representing me or getting to know me as their client. I went into the office several times to have a conversation and discuss the facts of the case as well as the evidence, however, that didn’t happen. One time it was rescheduled due to not having evidence, which I get. The next time I called the assistant to see if Doummar had the chance to review the evidence before I came into the office to discuss it, she said she had. I got there, he didn’t, I left. The last time, I showed up, he left, so we conferenced over the phone. I definitely wish I could’ve given my money, 2k, to an attorney who wanted to represent me rather than donate it. I honestly can say I should have went with anyone else with a JD. Lastly, to take the cake, I met with someone after court with whom I used to work with. Mr. Doummar was dumbfounded when she and I began speaking, though, I had told him and his assistant how my path crossed with this individual and agency at each time we spoke leading up to court. Please, you owe it to yourself, go find counsel somewhere else, anywhere else.

I highly do not recommend wasting a single penny here. The front office girls are rude, unprofessional, poor communication skills, and non reliable. I had happy o brien as my lawyer and I honestly feel like I paid $2,500 for the same quality that a public defender could’ve done. He does not respond to any calls or messages, is never available, AND DID NOT EVEN SHOW UP TO MY COURT DATE. There was no communication as to him not being there, I called the day before to confirm and speak with him, never heard anything, I’ve called twice since the incident to see what happened, never heard anything. His little front office rag doll Alex is very rude and does not know how to speak to people nor returns any calls back. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your lawyer needs. I’ll be sure to get this message out to as many people as possible.

Apart from being late to 3 plus hearings, an incompetent attorney (Doummar) that collected payment & sold Me out at time of trial. I would not recommend this attorney to anybody....
