We went to Hook Law to get my dad's copy of his will notarized, witnessed and signed by a lawyer. He had completed his will online with Legal Zoom but they failed to advise he needed this signed by an actual lawyer. We reached out to Hook Law as they completed my step mother's will for her a few years ago and asked as a courtesy if they would be willing to help with just signing and notarizing my dad's will even though he did not complete it with Hook Law. They were so accommodating. I was able to drive my dad out to the Virginia Beach location that same day. Not only did the help with this final piece for dad's will but they treated us like we were the most important people in the world. They made it easy and were graceful when I began to cry as dad stated yes this was his last will and testament. Yes, it's a legal thing one needs to have in place when you want to make sure your loved ones are taken care of. But it's also the looking at possibly the final years of your loved ones life that is difficult. Everyone was so helpful, courteous, kind and gracious at Hook Law. I would recommend this law firm to anyone who has any legal need, or just questions. Very professional and very people centered.

So grateful to Hook Law/Racheal Snead in helping me get guardianship for a lifelong friend with no living relatives and ended up in not the best place. For years I’d been advocating for my friend, lots of abuse and neglect, past and present. Until I was awarded guardianship I had no say in her care, neglect of care and my friend has dementia and other issues, and isn’t aware or capable of speaking up, when she gets overlooked. I can now be her voice and if not for Racheal and Hook Law it would never have happened.
