From the minute we stepped into Mrs. Moore's office we were welcomed and felt very comfortable. We had an unique situation that we needed Mrs. Moore's guidance on, and she really came through for us. Mrs. Moore and Julie (office staff) were exceptional. Our legal need took about 2 months to wrap up. We were kept informed throughout the process. The best thing about this office is that they cared about my family. They were just as excited as we were when everything fell into place. I would not hesitate to refer them to my family or friends. Absolutely horrible! There’s so much to tell however I’m not going to waste my time with this practice more than I have. Ms Moore spoke only a few words in court. Did next to nothing to defend or question the other side. Months into my case I asked her about the main thing I was being accused of and she had no idea and wanted me to set up an appointment to discuss it once again charging me hundreds more for something she should have known from the get go... when I told her this was unacceptable after I had already paid her 2500$ she said she was going to forfeit the contract and for me to get another attorney. There was no way I could afford another attorney so I was forced to stick with her. I wish I had not and the final bill ended up being 3,000 more than her original estimate. If you are considering hiring her I highly recommend you do your homework and not hire the first attorney you meet with. She may be good for your case however for mine I could have easily done far better myself for free.

Attorney Kahl is courteous and professional. Her knowledge of estates, wills and trusts was most helpful to my parents and me. Because of her advice and hard work with their finances, my father has been able to stay in his home with my mother and the help of caregivers.

Jennifer met with my mother and I and reviewed our current documents. She provided us with alot of information we did not know and made the proper recommendations to help my mother with her estate planning. She allowed my mother flexible payment options as well. Jennifer was always available to contact with questions or concerns. She explains things very throughly and easy to understand. Jennifer prepared several legal documents for my mother that will ensure she is well cared for and honors her wishes. Jennifer's background in working with the elderly is unique in my opinion for a attorney. She has worked in facilities for the elderly and has had alot of interaction with older people. She understands what is involved in caring for a elderly person and the problems that present a challenge. Jennifer was always very patient and respectful with my mother. She even came to our home and did the final signings of the documents, so my mother who suffers from chronic pain could be more comfortable. In my opinion, Jennifer is the "Total Package" if you are looking for an attorney who specializes in estate and elder law issues. Her background, education and personality are wonderful for this type of law. My mother and I chose Jennifer to ask for legal help among several lawyers we were referred to because we believed she was uniquely qualified to help us with my mom's estate planning. We could not have made a better choice in asking Jennifer for help. My mother and I feel very fortunate we found Attorney Jennifer Kahl and have had such a positive experience. It should also be noted she has wonderful support staff to work with as well. My mother still has one more legal issue that has to be addressed. My mother and I will of course ask Jennifer for help with this issue as well. Attorney Jennifer Kahl has our highest recommendation. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would surely do so. I was trustee of a revocable family trust whose grantors had passed on. A complication was that I live out-of-state. Furthermore, I had no knowledge of legal matters and this was my first exerience with a trust. I needed a capable and patient attorney, and Jennifer D. Kahl ably filled that role.

Jennifer was extremely helpful getting my parents documents in order. Unfortunately, my father passed away prior to the documents' finalization. She was very helpful getting everything switched over to my mother and set up for the future. I would recommend Jennifer to anyone! She was very patient and willing to answer any questions we had.

Jennifer did a great job in helping update our estate and medical documents after we moved to VA and combined our household to live with our daughter. She also helped to update our daughter's estate planning documents to account for the new shared living arrangement with us.
