I received services for will and living will planning from Mr. Waltar a little over 10 years ago during a trying time in which I needed the documents ready in a very short timeline. I found him to be helpful and flexible, as well as up-front about fees. I plan on returning soon to have my documents revised.

Back in summer of 2001, when we knew my husband was near death at the OverLake hospital, Stephen Waltar was referred to us by a hospital visiting minister from Bellevue presbyterian church as "young member of the church"! We gave Mr. Waltar copy of our 1994 family trust from California for him to copy the basic information and fitted them in a Washington State standard trust templet, the only time we met with him for when he came to the hospital to get my husband's signature in front of two nurses as witnesses. Approx. 1-2 weeks after my husband passed, I received a bill of $2000 plus and was shocked for the steep charge! When I asked him if the costs could be reduced since it was really a cut and paste job and I accepted the blame for not "shopping around and believing in nice church member's help" weeks before my husband's pending death, Mr. Waltar's sharp reply over the phone was "I've got bill to pay"! 16 plus years after, when I received an invite to his advertised seminars in October, memories came flushing back! If you even contemplate working with Mr. Waltar for estate planning, ask for written estimate first. Don't make the mistake as we did!

I highly recommend Lauren. She is very knowledgable, very supportive, very responsive. There is no question she did everything possible to help my case. I would highly recommend her!!

In December of 2014 I unfortunately got pulled over under the assumption of a DUI. I heard from a friend about the padula associates and went forward with my decision and hiring. Lauren took on my case due to having a greater understanding of the breathalyzer test that the police station used. Long story short; she warned me my case was very, very tricky and it'll need some work. After many months of court dates, phone calls and reaching out to someone who can come on board to help with my case, it was dropped to a reckless driving! She is very adiment and tries her hardest! She gives 100%, easy to contact and kept me in the loop. I never was hesitant on asking her questions, she keeps it real and is very easy to get along with. I would definitely recommend her to someone if they're ever in a situation to potentially getting charged with a DUI. I'm very happy and satisfied with how everything turned out and wouldn't want it any other way.

No reason to go into details about my case. I had the pleasure of working with Lauren when she joined Padula and Associates. Not only did she help me through a very troubling situation but I feel I gained new perspective. She's extremely knowledgable when it comes to this field of practice, keeps it real and knows the law. I had a complicated DUI case with a Canadian drivers license. Lauren always kept me in the loop and explained confusing law procedure to me in simple terms. Conversations always ended with a feeling of huge relief or trust knowing it would be taken care of by someone who know what they were doing.

I was very unfortunate to have gotten a Negligent Driving on the 1st Degree back in April 2014 (happened in Mountlake Terrace). I already had a Deferred Prosecution pending from 2012 from a prior DUI in Pierce County so getting this Neg 1, I thought I would lose everything and all the hard work that I had done in the past couple of years. It was such a pain to go through all the paperwork and court cases for my Deferred and I thought I was going to lose it all and spend some jail time. With Lauren's help, my Neg 1 was dismissed in court & we were stunned! I thought it was a miracle that the judge had dismissed the case entirely even with my past convictions. Although I had to take another few months of a Relapse Prevention Program, I stuck with it & without Lauren's help I wouldn't have survived it alone. She stayed on top of everything & was only a call or text away when I needed anything! I appreciate all the hard work she has done for me & all the chaos I put her through. Lauren is an outstanding, thorough, kind & friendly lawyer, I would recommend her to any of my friends, family & acquaintances.
