I came to Emily with essentially nothing in hand from the sudden passing of a close relative. No will, no financial records, no immediate family, just boxes & boxes of several years worth of unsorted & unrelated papers tucked away in a closet. I met Emily at Limitless Law at Bellingham Pride in 2015. It was nice to have a member of the LGBT family perform our estate plan as we felt comfortable that she was aware of the issues that might arise. When I had an issue with my wife’s estate, she participated in the negotiations and supported me even though my wife had left some of Emily’s checklist incomplete. Since my wife’s death I have had two more estate plans written up and have enjoyed working with Emily throughout.
