I got covid , which sadly turned into long haul covid and was unable to work. The company I worked for had disability insurance. I applied for this and my doctor of over 10 years filed out what seemed like mountains of paperwork. I was shocked and at a loss when my claim was denied. All those years that I paid into disability, I did so in faith that the money would get to the people who needed it and that it would be there for me if I ever needed it. The whole process was confusing, time-consuming, expensive (lots of appointments for medical documentation) and seemed unfairly stacked against me/anyone who was applying. When it became apparent that I was too naive and too sick to navigate the appeal process by myself, I turned to Aaron for help.
