As a disabled physician with cancer and with 40 years of health care experience I was struggling. Suddenly not being able to care for patients and preform my administrative roles was devastating. In short, I was a forced into a retirement that had come too soon. That was until I spent some time with Mr. Engle (Attorney at Law). My questions and concerns were answered efficiently and succinctly as well as the ins and outs of long term disability (LTD) and payments under my ERISA plan, which he reviewed in detail. Risks and benefit scenarios related to part time work while on LTD, my medical issues related cancer and specifics on how to interact with the insurance company were explained very well based on his years of experience with disabled cases. As to the risk questions I found Mr. Engle well acquainted with ERISA LTD requirements and very experienced in LTD appeals and their likely outcomes. He even made referrals to colleagues with SSA disability experience. Perhaps equally important were his kind words and counseling related to my guilt in not working. They gave me great solace. I would highly recommend his counsel and legal expertise to any professional dealing with disability issues.

Aaron Engle and his assistant, Terri, took great care of me. They had the experience, knowledge and facts critical to managing my case. The stress of the insurance company and their medical professional puppets who try to manipulate the truth was unbearable until I secured Aaron as my legal counsel. Knowing he was fully managing matters and I could ask him and Terri any thing at any time was a Godsend and gave me great confidence - communication was excellent. If you have a legal need, I highly recommend Aaron Engle.

WOW! I am very surprised to see any type of review less than a 5 star to be completely honest. HOWEVER, as someone who DID ACTUALLY use the services of Mr. Mark Davis, I cannot state enough how FANTASTIC it was to deal with him as well as Denise Moss (his Paralegal). I had spoken with several other law firms prior to Mr. Davis and his office. The other firms I spoke with made me question myself and my case. They took a lot of time to ask questions and gave either little to no feedback or just made me feel some kind of negative feeling about my case. This frankly put me into a negative head space for a couple of weeks. BUT THEN, I spoke with Ms. Moss, she took the time to discuss my case with Mark, and she reached back out to me about 1 week later and said that Mark Davis would like to meet with me. From the moment I met with Mark Davis, not only was I comfortable with him, BUT he truly made me feel as though what I have been going through was indeed valid and that I was not wrong in the situation and he had a way to make me feel validated and heard which is something I had not felt for several months of dealing with my case. Mr. Davis took on my case and he was WONDERFUL. The moment I left my meeting with Mark Davis I honestly felt as a gigantic weight had been lifted and I finally had someone who was going to fight for me and who was on my side. I am someone who will ask a million questions, and neither Mark nor Denise ever at any time ignored or became frustrated with me and all of my questions. They were both VERY communicative and responsive as well as reassuring, compassionate and obliging during the entire time they worked on my case. Mark Davis was able to settle my case in a way that was favorable to me and he made sure during the entire process from beginning to end that I was satisfied and contented with everything. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that if I am EVER in need of legal representation or advice the first place I will contact if Dethlefs Sparwasser and most specifically Mr. Mark Davis. As someone who has worked with several attorneys over the years for different things, and as someone who ACTUALLY USED the services of Mr. Mark Davis, I cannot highly recommend enough using this attorney!!!

I debated on whether to give a 2 or 3 star review. I wish there was a 2.5. Both Monica and Denise were friendly, and so was Mark. The rate for a phone consultation is $350 per hour. I specifically asked both Monica and Denise, before the consultation, if there was an hour minimum charge. They both told me no. It was based on the time we actually talked and would be prorated and used the number ".6 or .8." After my original call, I waited for the follow up which never came, so I called back, and was scheduled for the phone call with Mark. We spoke for 31 minutes and 18 seconds and was sent a bill for the full hour. I sent an email asking about this and was told, "Mark reviews the information beforehand, so you get the full benefit of the time he spends with you." Mark, the lawyer, told me he read through the docs I sent him, but he did not seem to be knowledgeable about them. If there was an hour charge, they should have just told me. Number one, I would have used the full hour. Number two, I wouldn't be annoyed. Number three, I would have given them a good review. I know lawyers are overpriced, but do I feel I got my money's worth? Absolutely not. UPDATE: Denise emailed me after I posted this review. She told me they were willing to credit my card for the disputed amount which was nice. I let her know, I was fine paying for time spent, such as her and Monica's time, and for the reviewing of my documents my Mark. I asked they be more transparent with future clients.

I filed a disability claim with my Long Term Disability insurance company and was denied twice.  As a last effort to get my claim approved, I researched attorneys in my area and found good information about Aaron Engle.  After meeting him, I learned we have many of the same life interests and experiences.  Aaron explained what he could do for me and he was genuinely interested in my issue. We made the decision to work with Aaron and it was the best decision we have made in trying to receive a claim from my insurance company.  I wish we would have done that a year earlier which would have eliminated a lot of grief for us.  Insurance companies are happy to take your money for the coverage, but fight like hell to not pay out on a claim.  I learned that the hard way. However, Aaron took on my case and positive things began to happen immediately.  Working through Terri G., Paralegal for Aaron Engle Law, we completed physical testing, documentation and information to help Aaron and team with my case.  Terri kept me informed all along the way of where we were on the process, which is something I need no mater what the issue is in my life.  After completing all of the needed information, Aaron was successful in getting the denial of my claim overturned; I was paid all of the back benefit I was owed, and am now receiving monthly disability benefit payments, which is going to be a financial lifesaver for my family. I can’t thank Aaron and Terri enough for what they have done for me.  I also have a big thank you for Alisha, the bookkeeper at AEL who kept me informed about all things financial relating to my case. This was an excellent experience and I would recommend Aaron Engle and his team to anyone fighting for a disability claim.

After calling a woman answered, "female name" Hello, Hi I am (my firsts name) and I am having a problem at work, now 15 - 25 sec silence, Finally how can I help you, "I am having a problem with a coworker" Her; Can you give me some details, After giving her the full summary 3-4 min, She finally says after I ask her is there anything I can do about this situation, I mean do i have a case?: She then says, I am not an attorney or a paralegal, I then say couldn't you have told me that before I explained everything? She then tells me I am becoming " difficult" and says I may hang up on you, I ask for what? She then says because I am being unpleasant, I asked , In what way? Unable to answer this she goes quiet, I tell her , I called for an opinion on my legal situation from a qualified person, I said she could have notified me of her statuas as neither a paralegal or an attorney, she then says I gave her no chance to do so, despite the massive silence at my initial call. I FINALLY got her to (see if the main attorney) Mark Davis was available, She comes back and tells me He is full load and will not consider any new cases? So Mark you failed to update your availability publicly because you clearly indicate accepting new clients, Now you have added to my Grief by wasting what LITTLE time I have to deal with this situation. This is a legitimate review of marks consultation because I called for such as advertised received word DIRECTLY from him via Emily and therefore completed a communication with him for the advertised consultation from an attorney who did declare publicly that he was accepting new clients when In fact he is NOT.
