Mr. Wakefield went above and beyond to treat me like family. I was scared, nervous, and had the worst anxiety in my life. I'm sure no one out there likes to be in trouble with the law. I had just moved to Washington and made a bad decision that could have endangered myself and possibly others. The process was difficult and new to me so the sleepless nights turned in to comfort after my first consultation with Phillip. He was sincerely empathic to my situation and really wanted to help. His "Respect" in the Court room was admired not only by the Judges and fellow Attorneys but by all bystanders. I felt protected. I was given a second chance thanks to Philip Wakefield. I still till this day consider him my friend. It was important to Phillip to actually spend the time to get to know me and he told me all about himself. Lauren helped me in a very difficult time for me. Never having to deal with any criminal charges before in my life. She was very professional and knowledgeable of what kind of defense I needed. In my opinion communication is the biggest issue. When you show up for your court date and your lawyer isn't there it really caused a panic. Speak up and you may find that another lawyer from the office is there on your behalf. We never went anywhere close to trial, but he never refunded my trial fees. I would suggest going to the county website to find lawyers suggested there. My experience was my name was not remembered, I had to push to get work done, I was charged for the investigator without being told. Philip didn't know that I even paid my trial fee up front and it was never refunded even though we got no where close to trial. This really was my worst experience for anyone I have ever hired. I feel he fought harder with me than the prosecution.

Great lawyers got me great plea deal

In my opinion I felt like I was worked more than my case. The excitement of having a lawyer I saw on TV my whole life is definitely gone. I felt there was really poor communication. Two quick examples. Court date through zoom. I don't see my lawyer. Some other lawyer seems to be talking about me so I spoke up and found that this stranger was my representation. Second was an interview with a private investigator then told days later that I had to pay for it on top of what I already paid. I am sure there are better lawyers out there. I have never had someone talk down to me so much that I hired.

So thankful for the fortitude and energy of this law firm. Phillip brought a sense of trust in the conviction of the firms mission and had proven it so. I hit a sign, had a blood test of .2 . He and his team worked to a wreck less charge. There is so much of a testimony on my part to the ethics and effort put forward here. I can continue moving positively in life with much more appreciation for the moment and gifts. Thank you Phillip
