I believe: Chay Tai and Thea Riddle of the Kennewick property management office should be fired. They are unstable people that mix their politics with their work, and loose control when one complains about their inadequate customer service.
They claim to be "always available", but they are never accessible except by e-mail. On their schedule, not the customers. Therefore they are not available. Thea Riddle calls customer complaints "disrespectful".

Celski and Associates told me that they, on their own without a vote from anyone, decided to charge 2.49 to people who pay their HOA fee via automatic bank payment. I called to question this added charge and was rather insultingly advised that this was only if the payment was via a credit card. Then they charge my bank the $2.49 fee. I call to complain and am told I didn't read their emails, that I never called and got the msg that this charged didn't apply to me as my automatic was thru a bank not a credit card, and was threaten with a lien if I didn't pay them. These folks are crooks in my opinion and I don't want to do business with them. Jim Egan, 102 S Tweedt Place

Only let them manage your property if you like paying through the nose for everything!
- Adding new Fees
- Increasing existing fees as well as the maintenance reserve (from $300 up to $500) so they can spend more of your money without having to even ask.
- Allowing low skill contractors/vendors to charge fees as if they were master electricians performing high voltage commercial three phase services on your property.
- Allowing tenants to break property and telling you to pay for it.
- Allowing tenants to neglect the yard (front and back) even though it's in the contract.
- Not providing 6 month updates with pictures (they have missed the last two…sixteen months since the last inspection. Coming up on the third but I will no longer be their customer by then.
- Allowing property to fall into deferred maintenance territory.
- Ignoring our agreement to not raise tenants rent without my approval, they did it anyway.
I tried to find a property manager I could live with long term. I sure made a bad choice in Celski. They have absolutely no regard for how they spend your money. For example, just recently my tenant reported the garage door was not functioning properly. Celski had a tech check it out and said it just needed a couple new sensors and wires to be capped off with some wire nuts rather than being bare wire connections. The quote I got back from my Celski was for $270. A pair of these sensors are $16 with universal door rail brackets, shipped from Amazon!!!!! It only takes a few minutes to install each one even if you can't use the existing rail brackets (which most of the time you can). A few 5 cent wire nuts and the job is done…10-15 minute install total even for me. Celski thought the $270 quote was evidently worth it and proposed it to me instead of using some common sense and saying, you know what, maybe we should get another quote because $270 is absolutely absurd...ridiculous…mind boggling…STUPID! This is just one of MANY and I mean MANY, situations in which Celski is going to use the highest bidder for the lowest skilled labor. I could go on and on but you get the picture.
As long as a property management company does their due diligence and brings in a good tenant (I know that's not always guaranteed) and the property stays well maintained, there is not much for them to do month to month. You really should be charged accordingly, not so with Celski. Increasing fees, adding new fees, missing multiple inspections, allowing vendors/contractors to massively overcharge etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. is really inexcusable.
Do yourself a favor and call around to find a property management company who actually has your best interests in mind. Also find a company that has service techs/handymen who actually work for them and won’t overcharge for maintenance/repairs. Don’t be like me now stuck getting deferred maintenance work completed in order to get my new property manager to take it over.

If you’re looking for a property management company that will have you move you into a home infested with carpet beetles and then drag their feet for two months before getting a pest control company to come out, then this is the company for you.
Thea, and Brianna will go weeks before responding to emails or phone calls.
I understand issues coming up with rental properties, but having a non responsive property manager and managing broker is unacceptable. They only responded when we threatened a lawsuit due to neglect.
Avoid like the plague. Trust me when I say it’s not worth the headache.

I think it’s a huge disservice that google doesn’t allow me to post pictures with my review. Which is probably why yelp reviews for this company tell a whole different story! So if you would like to see 10 images of what my rental looked like when I moved in, then please go see my yelp review. It was horrifying, feral and a true reflection of who this company is. And Thea if you see this (maybe this is better than all the emails and phone calls?) can you please send the the finalized move out bill with the cleaning fee removed? It’s been a month……. Anyways…Steer clear of 3044 S Fillmore place in Kennewick. It’s got a bad case of carpet beetles!

A little over a year ago I accepted a job off in TN. Not wanting to sell my house I decided to have it rented through a management company. After reading a lot of reviews I went with Celski and couldn’t be happier. My property manager Mike Corrado has always emailed or called me back and addresses any concerns or questions I had. I never felt like I wasn’t in control of what I wanted with my house.

My wife and I had a great home- buying experience thanks to Brianna Smith at Celski! In just a few short days she helped us find the right property in the right price range. Her diligence and great connections cleared the path for an early close and a smooth transition. Post sale, she's followed up with us to make sure we're getting settled in. Thank you Brianna and Celski team!

We have been pleased working with Brianna and Breanna. Celski has been managing our duplex for the last two years. While it can be frustrating managing an older property, both ladies and their assistants have handled any situations professionally and responded quickly. Monthly updates on your property are nice. Thanks.
