I had the opportunity to deal wish Shane over a billing matter. Shane was responsive, knowledgeable, and understanding. His knowledge of debt law was impressive and helped out immensely. I did not feel like just another client but a friend.

Shane was recommended to us by a Vancouver Canada, Admiralty Law firm to handle a boat fire case in Seattle, Washington. He did so with great success. His local knowledge and experience were valuable assets, his communication with us was excellent, he worked hard and he kept his costs down. Shane provided very professional yet personalized service that yielded results.

I retained Mr. Carew as my maritime attorney in 1992 based upon the recommendation of another maritime attorney, Dwight Guy. Mr. Guy had represented me for several years, but because of a potential conflict-of-interest he felt I needed a new attorney. Mr. Carew primarily represented me in fishing rights issues, as well corporation/incorporation issues. He always emphasized that he could represent me only in an ethical and honest manner, with the goal of settling issues according to the law. I always felt that he was fair and honest in his billing and he never tried unfairly increase billable hours. Although I now longer an active fisherman, I still am part owner of three boats that fish in Alaska and Mr. Carew is still my attorney for boat and fishing related matters. I have recommended him to several other fishermen and they have always indicated that he gave them good service as well.
