The day after our car accident which took place on our way to work, my husband and I met with Shawn Briggs and his staff. Our journey through the rigors of sorting through the fall-out from a serious car accident began. Mr. Brigg's office guided us through our medical needs while he, himself, tackled the legal ramifications. I especially appreciated Mr. Briggs professional coverage on the day of our depositions. I felt like I was next to the "Master" during these moments of high stress. His experience in these matters was almost like a "warm blanket" that day while being questioned for 2 1/2 hours in a very cold-like legal environment. Shawn did an excellent job for me in my case (Personal Injury). He & his staff kept me advised of the status my case at all times.. He successfully negotiated a settlement that was in my favor. Jenny is a complete sweetheart that gives you updates as soon as you need them. She is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that any of your questions are answered, and I definitely appreciate that a lot! Shawn is also amazing with negotiating and his work! The other insurance decided that they only wanted to pay $13,000 which Shawn did not agree with, so we filed a lawsuit against them for more money. They ended up settling to pay out the maximum for their insurance, but Shawn was determined that that was still not enough for the accident that was caused, so he negotiated with my insurance company to get more. My PIP reimbursement ($5,000) was completely waived, I received $25,400 from the other insurance, and $20,000 from my insurance. The whole process took only a matter of 2-3 months after being discharged from the doctors and they received all of my medical chart. I'm currently just waiting on my final settlement check to go through now, but should receive it within the next 2-3 weeks. I couldn't be any more happier with the end results and will definitely recommend using them to anyone interested in looking for lawyer.

Shawn Briggs and his team have been fabulous. I was in 2 accidents in less than 2 years, neither of them my fault. Shawn Briggs and his caring professional staff are the best thing that could have happened for me and my small family- in which I am the sole bread winner. Insurance companies have a way of manipulating and taking advantage of innocent, injured victims. I was inundated with Dr. appointments, therapies, surgery-not to mention being in a great deal of pain. Shawn Briggs and his staff were a much needed reprieve! They handled communication with the insurance companies, and my medical billers. Things got much worse before they got better. I almost lost my job and home because of the accident and injuries. As a single grandparent raising a grandchild from birth, I was terrified of losing the only home my grand daughter had ever known. Stress does not help with the healing process! Honestly Shawn Briggs and his staff came in like a knight in shinning armor, rescuing the damsel in distress. In the end my home was preserved and medical bills were taken care of. Insurance companies are ruthless and very uncaring. I highly recommend Shawn Briggs to anybody who is injured and trying to heal/recover. I needed an advocate! I was so fortunate to choose the right attorney! Choosing the right attorney is a life changing decision! I found that dealing with insurance companies by myself was like being bloody while swimming in shark infested waters. Shawn and his team acted like the US Navy showing up with aircraft carriers and helicopters to pluck me from those waters. The insurance company wanted to act like there was barely any wrong doing by their client, after the second recorded phone call, or interrogation as I call it, they were willing to “acknowledge” fault. They drug their feet, devalued my totaled vehicle, discounted my injuries. Sadly my insurance company wasn’t very proactive either. While this was going on they kept trying to get me to take some cash sign off and walk away with no vehicle and no ability to work. After a million phone calls to yet another supervisor who was “sorry it was the most they could do for me…” I almost threw in the towel. After meeting with Shawn everything was just like the Office Depot commercial. Push the easy button. It took some time, but Shawn got me in to see the doctors and physical therapists I needed. He explained EVERYTHING that the lawyers and insurance people were saying in easy to understand terms and told me what we should do next. Some lawyers seem to be “business only”. Shaun took a personal interest in how I was doing and what I needed. The insurance company will disagree, but Shawn is a pro that is a super nice guy. Eventually, through his persistence and expert negotiation, we received a fair settlement offer that took care of all of my medical bills and compensation for the time I needed off from work for rehab. I was worried about upfront cash because I didn’t have any at the time. He didn’t need any at the onset and made sure that the settlement covered all of my needs, including his fees. I can’t say enough good things about Shawn. There are few people you meet that can change your life in such a positive way. Shaun and his team are a godsend.
