My wife and I hired Chuck to help us with custody of my oldest daughter. Chuck worked diligently and walked us through each step of the process to make sure we understood what was happening. Our court case was seamless and handled to perfection.

Chuck Szurszewski is my attorney for my separation, divorce, and spousal support modification proceedings. My divorce was extremely acrimonious. The initial proceedings took more than two years, over one issue; my ex not wanting to pay spousal support. Adding to the difficulty of my divorce was that I no longer resided in Thurston county, let alone Washington state, when the motion was filed. Travel would have been very difficult for me, as I have a rare leukemia, and was dealing with issues of chemotherapy side effects. Chuck and his team handled virtually everything for me. Through delay after delay - my ex having to retain new counsel two separate times - and not being able to come to an agreement, we were finally scheduled for trial. I had no fear of losing, because I know that Chuck fights for what is right in the Family Law Court. With mere hours to go before the start of trail, an agreement was reached, with Chuck at the helm of my case. We work extremely well as a team. I even persuaded him to request additional attorney fees be paid by my ex, since he had cause so many delays. Although Chuck did not believe the judge would approve, he did add these to the proposed settlement offer. However, they were, and I was awarded an equitable judgment. Due to my ex having had his maintenance amount modified a few years ago, we just returned to negotiations. We have now successfully restored the order to its original amount. Chuck undertook my case this time around as a follow-up, and we were able to keep things out of the courtroom. Whenever I speak with Chuck, I am left feeling better, in no small part due to his uplifting laugh. He is genuinely a jovial person, who likes to help others. His work within the community of which I was a member and loved so much, matters to me immensely. When I met Chuck, it was if I had known him for years. He simply has a way of putting you at ease. For me, going through what was at the time the most difficult thing I had experienced, Chuck guided me through the catacombs of dank and darkness, reminding me that there is indeed light on the other side, and to leave all the bundles of unhealthy energy behind. I am blessed to’ve found Chuck Szurszewski to’ve represented me for all things related to my separation, divorce, and spousal support modifications. I do not hesitate in recommending him to anyone.

Chuck was a great lawyer for my Child custody trial. He was patient with me and explained in plain words a lot of the legal jargon. He was honest about the upfront cost of the case and explained the timelines to me. The case lasted over a year, but ultimately got what we were asking for. He works hard and is very polite, nice, and understanding. Great guy and happy to retain him.

Paying Mr. Meserve for his counseling was easily the worst investment of the entirety of my family law case. Not only was he incorrect on factual details, but when corrected he treated me like I was trying to lie to him. These weren't even contentious details, things you'd expect someone to lie about. These were raw, citable, facts. Mr. Meserve's guidance when he saw I was accused of [Insert Crime], was to "plead guilty". This was a family law case, not a criminal case. My case couldn't reasonably be taken to criminal court because the only evidence is the testimony of my clearly hostile ex-partner. Which either makes me a criminal mastermind or there wasn't smoke, because there wasn't a fire. Had I of taken Mr. Meserve's guidance, as he had taken my money, I would now be criminally liable. Now, a year later, the court found that my partner was clearly being deceptive and attempting to leverage the system in a predatory way. Yet that doesn't change the potential degree of damage the guidance from this lawyer could have caused. If you have limited funds, like most of us do and are in a vulnerable place dealing with a system that is supposed to represent you, but is equally and seemingly purposefully made so complicated that you have to hire someone to decipher it. I would certainly not risk spending your money on this gentleman.

My husband and I finalized our wills and other documents yesterday. This is the firm we used. It was literally a short phone call, a couple emails, and a 15 minute in person noterizing appointment. It could not have been easier and we got not only our wills but power attorney docs and such taken care of as well. Highly recommend!

This company will charge you so much in interest far more than you actually ever paid. Then sell your debt to other agencies to continue stealing. It’s quite scandalous. So if you are trying to provide stability and care to your children against an abusive partner I wouldnt recommend. Poor representation as well
