Searching for a new lawyer online, I found Edward K. Le on a “WA St Top 50” lawyers’ list. Surrounded by a great caring supporting cast, he makes sure you feel like family when working with you. He’s generous and courteous, but also has that passion and heart that is expected from a great lawyer. Pays very close attention to detail and stayed organized and prepared throughout my whole experience. I felt and still feel confident that he is one of the best lawyers you’ll hire in the general Puget Sound region.

I originally contacted Jean about a commission issue with an employer. I had a phone conversation explaining the scenario and she asked I come in for a meeting. Nothing would be charged. I met with Jean and she stated the legal options one of which being we could most likely go after loss of wages. Another lawyer had told me there wasn't an option for lost wages so I thought Jean was willing to go the extra mile. I signed a contract with Jean based on that thought process. An hour after I signed up with her she emailed me stating that unfortunately going for lost wages wasn't an option. I was very surprised about being misled. through the course of the next 7 days I had emailed her backup info regarding the case and spoke with her once or twice. She sent me a list of hours spent totaling 7 or 8 hours that included our first phone consultation and the only time we met that was supposed to be no cost. I thought that was leading down a dishonest road so I decided to part ways with Jean. She had sent an email stating that the tally of hours wasn't a bill and wouldn't be. I still decided to part ways with her services. A couple weeks later I received a bill for almost 800.00 that included the items previously mentioned. I ended up negotiating it down to three hundred dollars. This lawyer is a liar and a cheat. She will mislead you into signing the contract then there is nothing you can do within reason to get out of the deal besides pay her. She never even contacted my employer it was purely discussions on the case and she absolutely forced me to pay her or we were going to court! Please, please don't use her. I moved on to another lawyer that operated very above board and honestly so I experienced both sides of the spectrum.
