We were referred to Jeremy Yates at Ascension Law. We had been dragging our feet to get our Will done! Jeremy made it really easy to get the Will drafted and talked us through the entire process. He is very knowledgeable about the law and was willing to spend a lot of time to ensure we understood everything throughout the entire process. I'd definitely recommend him if you are looking to create your Will!

Mr. Hammerstad not only looked at my son's history with the law, but as an individual with an addiction as well. He clearly and concisely reviewed his legal options; and kept us up to date on each step on the legal process. He answered our questions honestly and thoroughly. He reached out to former and current associates for their insight and positive contributions to my son's defense. He was professional at all times in his demeanor whether in or out of the court room. I cannot imagine a more capable attorney. I would highly recommend him.

My stepson was incarcerated with what seemed to be excessively severe felony charges. We live out of state and were very unfamiliar with Washington State Law. We had to trust that David would do the best for our son and zealously advocate for him. The prosecutorial staff was not showing much flexibility and the incarceration went on much longer than we expected, so we were particularly thankful for the regular and supportive communication we received from David (at our son's request, of course). David's advice was expert, and his assessment of the situation was honest without being over-encouraging or discouraging. Thankfully, he helped our son to a resolution that avoided a felony on his record.

D.H. helped me to lower felony charges to misdemeanor. I was really worried the entire time I was in jail, though when we went to trial time I was relieved. He was helpful to me while I was in jail.

David is the perfect lawyer. I trusted my "freedom" in his hands and it paid off. David takes his time learning, understanding and is VERY knowledgeable of the law. My case was an Assault First Degree. David represented me in ways that made me very comfortable and he never showed fear. He has heart for sure. He'll be there from beginning to end, giving no less than 100% for his client. I speak from experience.

David respresented my daughter. He was calm, kind, knowledgeable and informed us of the process. The charges could have been life changing for my young daughter. David was able to get the charges dismissed. I would not hestitate to recommend David.
