Melissa and Kody were amazing to work with. They truly went above and beyond for me. They actually heard what I was saying and made me feel like a person not just a client. I hope no one has to go though and accident or the pain I did, but if it happens this is who you want fighting for you.

Richard Alder was my lawyer for my personal injury case and also for my older brother ( Anwar Ahmed ). Who got hit by pick truck while he was walking to work. They did the following things for me: They recommended excellent medical physicians at the top of the industry for spine (neck and back) trauma, who helped me get the diagnostic testing I needed by a highly respected surgeon. They guided me in ways that were sometimes difficult to hear or process with a TBI and spinal injuries, vision problems, constant PTSD flares, etc. They told me what I needed to hear, not what I wanted to hear. They defended me in all the battles they faced to get me the best possible outcome for my case. They were seasoned, wise, and compassionate. Adler Giersch, specifically Melissa, Richard, Kody, MaryEllen, and Elisabeth, were with us every step of the way throughout the stressful times from the day after my injury to the day of a closure to the case. With a 4-month old infant, and the worst physical and emotional trauma of our lives, we were in no shape to navigate the complex world of insurance, paperwork, litigation, etc. This team helped us take that burden off of our shoulder, and focus on healing physically and emotionally. After I was rear ended, I consulted with a different firm 1st, I felt like I was being pushed into hiring them. I highly recommend Melissa Carter and her team. I initially approached her after an auto collision in which the person who hit me and my daughter admitted culpability but their insurance company refused to pay the related medical bills. Melissa generously spent three months working with me so that I might reach a resolution without a lawsuit; when the insurance company continued to be unreasonable, only then did we file a suit. Melissa and her team were excellent: detail-oriented, kind, supportive, and clear every step of the way. During arbitration, Melissa impressively dismantled the insurance company's specious case, and we won the day. The biggest surprise: Melissa's experience in negotiating with insurance companies meant that she was able to get my medical costs reduced and I received a check for about twice as much as I had expected.
