Although I wasn't able to move forward with my case he made sure I understood all of the legalities of a vehicle fraud case and what steps I needed to take in order to be most effective in pursuing justice for being sold a vehicle with undisclosed damage. Attorney Morgan Lake is a different type of attorney. I am fighting a case against one of the biggest automobile manufacturers in the USA. When I reached out for help, he had a full caseload but provided me with a list of attorneys he felt would be a good match. I tried to retain this guy for a auto fraud case. At first, he was responsive. But after the 1st couple of days he would request info that I had already sent. Then he said he would call at a certain time. Never did. Said he would email me some forms to look over. Never did. He was not professional at all. He said he wants to get rich from my case. Then after I told him I was going to move forward with another attorney he responded quick. Sent me a scan of a boilerplate retention agreement form through text with some other client's information not whited out. When I brought this to his attention he acted like I was the dumb one and said it was intentional. Then he sent random texts "Hey Zack" and "WSBA". This guy seems sketchy to me. Steer clear.

Mr. Lake helped me and fought for me through a long process with a company. Was awarded more for settlement then we thought would happen because of how difficult the company was being. He pulled out all the legal strategies with this company to make my case stronger than I would have ever thought of using, than again, that's why he's the lawyer and I'm not. Overall: 10/10 would sue with Mr. Lake again.

Retaining the services of Morgan Lake was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. He took my case without having the knowledge and skillset necessary to properly represent me. He was in over his head and failed to admit it, which cost me greatly. He also billed me hourly for a case that should have been taken on a contingency basis. He did so because he lacks the skill and confidence to tackle a case of this nature. He was only worried about seeing that he made money. His lack of knowledge of the law and his outright neglect of important deadlines cost me a vehicle and multiple 5 figures. I ended up firing him and hiring a skilled attorney, but he had already caused irreparable damage to my case. Although the case was ultimately settled in my favor, I was not made whole due to his mistakes and neglect.
