Well organized!

A bit on the “elementary” side although it is titled Estate Planning 101. Basically a session on definition of terms and documents that encompass the process. I was expecting more that dealt with the planning process, the do’s and don’ts, pitfalls, decisions that one needs to make when creating a trust, likely what they would cover in the free consultation they offer webinar attendees. I didn’t gain much new information out of the webinar. Most of this could be had merely by researching estate planning on the internet.

Today's Estate Planning Webinar was very well done! Not only was registering for the webinar easy, I appreciated receiving reminder texts, which included a personalized link into the webinar. The facilitator did an excellent job in presenting "Estate Planning 101." Each slide provided insight and understanding of estate planning documents, i.e., a Will, types of Trusts, different POA's one needs in place, etc. He often provided real life examples in order for us to gain a clearer understanding. Every estate plan is unique and based on individual circumstances. Q&A was enlightening, as each attendee was able to submit their question via the "chat" area. I not only received responses for my questions, but also heard answer's to Q's asked by others! This was a very good webinar and was wrapped up in ~45-50 minutes! Definitely time well spent. I would highly recommend taking this free course in order to gain insight re: estate planning. "Thank you" Evergreen Estate & Elder Law Team for putting this webinar together!

Very thorough, complete and detailed consideration of our goals and personal wishes. The constructive criticism is that (aside from initial consultation) our preliminary and acceptance meetings could have been 30 mins longer. There was too little time to take complete notes and to get clarification on items we had questions on. We did get answers and clarification but felt very rushed and need time when final docs received where we may need to call back. A second constructive suggestion would be to assign one attorney from start to finish. Getting to build a more personal connection would benefit clients IMO. This is not meant to complain about those professionals we dealt with, only to express personal preferences at our age and stage of life. Thank you. Appreciate your professional skill and advice.

Very good overview of what you need to look at and get prepared for ahead of time.
