After 2 years attempting to remove falsely reported data from my FBI record through the normal appeals process, I turned to CDC law after they were recommended by the NRA's Washington Chapter. Mary Hibel took charge of my case and began the process over again on my behalf. She was relentless in her efforts to clear my name - the falsely reported information originated in the United Kingdom and had been part of my FBI record for 44 years. She contacted numerous foreign law enforcement agencies and we even hired a private investigating firm to research the validity of the reported information. After no supporting evidence was found to support the record entry she contacted Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers 5th Congressional District office. The Congresswoman's office met with the FBI on our behalf to present our case. I have been informed by the FBI that my record is being cleared and my gun rights are being restored.
