Mark, and his paralegal Electra are absolutely amazing. Beyond just the legal representation they were tremendous on helping me through this extremely difficult time, and exhibited time and time again how much they cared about me and my family.

Divorce is hard enough without your lawyers also trying to take advantage of you. These people waste time, and their billing practices are predatory. They are poor advocates for the people they work for. My father, who is a disabled veteran, recently used them, and they took advantage of his mental illness to take over $30, 000 from him without making any progress toward settling the divorce. They ask for an additional $45,000 deposit if the divorce case goes to court, which they don't disclose until they've already worked with you for a while and taken a significant amount of money. The law firm has their own loan office, named LexFin, which conveniently offers loans for the exact amount of the deposit they ask for. This all seems very predatory; as if people will detailed legal knowledge created a scam to take most of your money while you are emotionally vulnerable. Maybe that's all divorce attorneys, but this business is especially bad, and I would recommend that other people look elsewhere for representation if they need representation in a divorce.

David Yando was amazing and made this first time (and hopefully last) bankruptcy process as straightforward and painless as possible and explained the ins and outs of my options very clearly and simply in a way I could follow. He also offered a very clear pricing plan for the process and also includes a program to help start building credit again once the process is all through. All in all very satisfied and highly recommend Mr. Yando and the Washington Fresh Start offices.

I had a mis understanding with them in the start of journey becoming debt free and everyone i the office was so kind and nice and so helpful. I will suggest this place t anyone needing help. Thank you such for helping me get my life on a better road !

Blake did a great job at getting my case dismissed! We had the unfortunate luck of having a prosecutor who was unresponsive, so the whole case took a few months before anything happened. Blake was very communicative during that time with updating me on any new information, or what he anticipated the outcome would be. He pushed the case to trial where it was dismissed. The prosecutor failed to show up in person on that day and was reprimanded by the judge resulting in a more favorable dismissal. So, it really couldn’t have gone any better. I hope I’m never in this sort of situation again but if I am I won’t hesitate to call Blake!

I have known Mr. KOLKE for years now, and am still impressed with how knowledgeable he is. He worked hard this time around to help me get custody of my daughter, and get her out of a really bad living situation with her alcoholic mother, and boyfriend. Family law is confusing, scary, expensive the list goes on it's probably the worst experience ever. Desmond through it all made my daughter's safety, and well being his number one priority. Thank you so much Des sometimes the good guys win.
