I am giving *my* highest rating for Kurt. It's my own little windmill-tilting effort to fight rating inflation. All of us can do better. My normal rating for attorneys is 2 or 3 stars. I have vetted over a hundred in many practice areas. It's REALLY difficult to find attorneys who have not been corrupted by greed and/or power. Kurt was honest, caring, competent, forgiving, and dedicated to my cause. I had false allegations of violation of a NCO brought by the mother of our child. She had colluded with corrupt female police officers and a "me too" activist female prosecutor with little ethics to bring 5 charges against me, seemingly because I possess a Y chromosome, and despite the fact I'm a feminist and BIPOC ally, veteran, volunteer, and model community citizen. 3 previous attorneys were not willing or able to fight the system. Kurt took my case. Two of the counts were dismissed and I was acquitted by a jury of our peers in the remaining 3, clearing my record. Recently I had another situation where My ex tried to set me up again. Off the clock and after hours, Kurt took my call. Attorneys with the aforementioned qualities are rare. He earned and will continue to earn your business.

For what I wanted accomplished in court and my verbal interactions. They were wonderful. I was and still am very frustrated with how things happened in the beginning. They recommended and hired a PI to find and serve the opposing party after 2 failed attempts (at my expense) I did an internet search and paid a website to get an updated address. How I was able to do this and not their PI cost me time and money for my case. I would say this aspect of my case was very wasteful and had I known the PI would be incompetent I could have saved at minimum $500 and wrapped up my case over a month ago. I recognize that the retainer was an estimate. They were very positive I would get money back due to the simplicity of my case. Instead I paid significantly over my retainer, id say in part due to the incompetency of the PI and an attorney leaving abruptly.

Michael Stewart and his staff are amazing to work with. From day one the law office walked us through each step and calmed my son's anxiety (which on a scale from 1 - 10 he was at 100). All of the staff are very personable and professional. I was able to reach out via phone, email, or text and would receive a response within 24 hours. I was very pleased to hear that a portion of their fee goes back to the community donations to charitable causes. I never would have received the settlement I received if I handled this on my own. I have nothing but good things to say about them and their staff.

Rob got me out off a falsified felony charge that my scorned ex actually got me arrested for! nobody would listen within the judicial system when i stated that she wasn't telling the truth bedsides Rob! thank you for your Hard work and dedication to my case.
