Jada Wood took care of my divorce for me. Made me feel comfortable with the process. I had a difficult uncooperative wife but eventually convinced her she was a fair attorney that was looking out for both of us. And without bringing in the cost of a second attorney saved us exponentially! Shante and staff made each office visit pleasant and inviting. Even talking about what was going on with the divorce progress. I highly recommend the office of Dorothy Bartholomew!

Many years ago, (about 20) Dorothy Bartholomew was my attorney and she was very good! Precise and meant business. She helped me tremendously. I referred several family members to her. Great service! Several months ago, I needed an attorney for a different matter and thought I would look her up. I was connected with her daughter, Jada Wood. Hands down, Jada is the best attorney! She handled my case with confidence, grace and kindness. She genuinely cared about any concerns I had regarding the case and calmed me down by reassuring me that she would handle it. Well, SHE HANDLED IT! I am very thankful for her help and would absolutely reccomend her to others. I'd also like to add that all of the staff in the office are very personable and helpful. You can never go wrong with a family business! Price was low, considering all of the work she did for me. Thank you ALL for your kindness, support and knowledge! Highly recommend!

Would give 10 stars if I could. My entire experience was great. Jada handled my case and helped me to understand the whole process. She made it so that I wasn't stressed out the entire process. Very quick response to any questions I had. Shante was always there to make me feel welcome and comfortable while in the office. The rest of the staff I had interaction with was also helpful and kind. Great experience with these folks. Definitely recommend using this office for your needs.

Facing the fact that we were going to have to file for bankruptcy was frightening. We felt humiliated, even though our financial troubles were the result of circumstances beyond our control. But the minute we walked into Dorothy's office we felt welcomed and reassured. Dorothy made it clear that she and her staff were there for us, on our side. Her attitude was that life happens, now let's help you turn this around. Her reassurance from the minute we met her made the rest of the process much less awful than we expected. Dorothy and Jada and the rest of the staff always treated us with warmth and respect. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Jada was asked to complete a (long over-due) quadro for my divorce by my attorney who either could not or would not complete the services he was hired for. She quickly completed the quadro in January of 2018, at which time she had given it back to my attorney who was then supposed to do his part. When I notified her recently to let her know that I had not yet received my money, and it was now October, she was shocked. She immediately contacted both my attorney and my ex-husbands attorney and made arrangements to finalize the paperwork that was never her responsibility to do. She completed the process in less than one week!! Not only was it not her job to do, but I found out that she was not receiving money for it. When I offered to pay her, she refused. She knew that I had already paid the attorney his retainer, $2,500 and would be receiving yet another bill for services that were never received by him. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining everything in detail. She communicates effectively so that you're not left wondering what is going on or why things are delayed. I hope that I will never need another attorney again, but if I do, I will contact her immediately. The most important thing in all of this, is that she is kind and has integrity! Jada is not about the money. She truly cares about people and loves what she does. I would highly recommend her to anybody who needs an attorney who will get the job done!!!

When my father passed away, my mother had encountered some difficulty in claiming her military Survivor's Benefits. When a request for legal referrals went out, Jada answered the call, having had experience with government retirement orders. Sure enough, she was able to cut through the red tape and win my mother her benefits. Jada was caring and professional, keeping us updated throughout the process. She is very personable, and even offered us a jar of pickled beans her mother made, when we met with her in person! We can definitely say Jada deserves your trust and confidence with your legal matters.

Fell upon Jada and Dorothy by a referral from a client. I was received very professionally but something that surprised me was the energy they both brought to the table of great concern for me personally and with an incredible calm and confidence presence that helped me in a time I felt desperate overwhelmed, and vulnerable They brought the human element while working very hard and diligent at the legal side I am so grateful they were my choice in a time that I needed help legally. It was a pleasure meeting these amazing women and receiving help from them. I never had to worry about anything because Jada and Dorothy were always on top of it. Very communicative, punctual, and understanding of my case and situation. I would recommend them to anyone!
