This is a very friendly, professional establishment and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a lawyer.

My husband and I went in for a consult for bankruptcy. This was a decision that was very difficult due to the stigma around not being financially responsible. He had stage 4 lung cancer and we had no choice. The staff, including and especially Ms. Bartholomew, took kind and professional care of us. I would recommend this office to everyone and anyone. So proficient and swift. Get your ducks in a row and it will be a smooth, life changing experience!

Dorothy is Amazing as is her office staff! She is very honest and helpful and never makes you feel bad for anything you are going through. She is funny and easy to work with. I would refer her to anyone who may be in a tough spot and need some help.

Major communication issues. I scheduled my first appointment a few months ago for a free consult one morning after my 12 hour night shift. I waited 1/2 hour for them to open and they opened a few minutes late and come to find out this was to be a 2 hour appointment. I was not told this when I scheduled as I couldn't stay up that much long after working. So I told them I would reschedule on a day off. I did a few months later after specifically asking if they can review and look into my large student loan debt. I was told yes by Dorothy's sister at the beginning of my 2 hour consult. After 75 minutes of doing paperwork and watching a video with her sister(who was nice enough), I then met with the attorney. Dorothy was blunt and said no way can I take your case "you'd never be able to afford me fighting the student loan... I was like well how much? and she said $45,000" 😳 Took all of me to from laughing but I was also very upset that I again wasted so much time! As a professional I find this office very unprofessional... as I was walking out the door I overhear Dorothy telling her staff she doesn't do student loans anymore. Gee thanks for letting me know after the fact! Dorothy did recommend me to another attorney Mr. Granvold that wants $350 cash to meet with me for a 1 hour consult for BK and the student loans but won't tell me upfront if he took the case how much his legal fees are... really? Why would I give an attorney that much cash not knowing what their other fees are?? All I can say is really do your research. Needless to say I have attained another attorney and all is going as planned and MUCH less expensive then Dorothy's office and I'm sure Mr. Granvold's!

Best attorney EVER!

Very smart people with just as high emotional intelligence. Never making the sting of misfortune (no matter whatEVER variable may have been the root cause) more humiliating. No candy coating do not get that wrong! Just, Dorthy and her peeps get that life happens. Sometimes, it happens more than once. >.< . She listens to you, not AT you. That there is a quality no amount of $$$ can buy.

Me and my husband went through Dorothy for our bankruptcy. We always thought going through a bankruptcy would be super stressful, but they made it a stress free process and pretty darn easy! Everyone in the office is super nice and are eager to answer your questions. Going through court was a breeze, which I though was going to be the hardest part!! I definitely recommend Dorothy!
