Got more than offered for my case

I consider myself lucky that I am able to walk to work instead of having to drive. It’s one of my favorite things about living in Seattle because everything I need is just within a few blocks from my apartment. But I recently got into an accident when a driver tried to get ahead of me as I was crossing a street. He came in from behind me and turned the corner where I was so I didn’t see him coming.
