Besides providing a high level of expertise in his area of practice, Mr. Gross and his team were also understanding, patient, and supportive in what I'm sure many would find to be a highly stressful and uncertain time of their lives. I was referred to Teresa Foster by an attorney in Portland. This was the first time in my life that I was represented by an attorney in a legal proceeding. I was blown away by the entire experience and am absolutely convinced that I could not have hired a better lawyer/team to represent me. Teresa is an amazing attorney who comes with the added bonus of her exceptional paralegal Chriss Elliott. I consulted with Lisa and asked her a million questions. She was knowledgeable and patient. I did hire as my ghost lawyer and she made me feel at ease and satisfied with the divorce paperwork. I had the absolute pleasure of having David Gross (along with his paralegal Karrey Komp) represent me in a custody case. David is phenomenal! He went above and beyond my expectations. My case was a long drawn out one that lasted almost 6 months when it realistically shouldn’t have! My ex husband was asking for 50/50 custody. After I was served papers I was quickly looking up excellent law firms in Vancouver, and came across Mckinley Irvin! I fully understand why they are so highly rated- every one is very professional, compassionate and understanding and David was quick to respond to all of my emails answering multiple questions I had. He tried his very best to conserve money for us, as he fought for me to keep my daughter. I 10/10 would recommend him! He is excellent at his job (very knowledgeable) and will fight hard for the outcome you want!

I am extremely pleased with how Casey Sanders and Kerry Komp, handled my Divorce case. They responded to any questions or requests same day, typically and hour after sending them an email. When faced with no other alternative than divorce, my priority became searching for an attorney with a philosophy similar to mine: that a divorce does not have to mean an ugly and extended court fight. I found that in Lisa Ward. Lisa listened and gave solid and caring advice that enabled my ex-partner and I to work things out with Lisa’s mediation. While we could no longer life in the same household, we continued to care about each other and wanted to remain on friendly terms. I had moved from Vancouver to the Seattle area by then. Lisa and her staff made it possible for me to have video appointments, sign papers remotely, so I would not have to travel back to Clark County. After careful listening, Lisa put together a proposal that was acceptable to both parties. She answered each of our questions with compassion while remaining realistic and impartial. She always followed up with each of us, listening, with advice for next steps and the best legal actions to take. Lisa not only mediated the dissolution of the marriage, she remained a strong source of support and advice through the sale of the joined home as well. From initial contact to final distribution of the house proceeds the process took just 7 months. The divorce was final within 4 months. To me this was a better experience than I could have hoped for. I would highly recommend Lisa Martin to anyone in need of legal help in family law. I entered a divorce litigation anxious of how it would end, and in the whole process Lisa patiently walked me through the case, patiently explained to me what I need to know, and set expectations, and every step of the way she got me more than what's expected. Lisa is also good at calming me down when I was frustrated, with laid out strategies and explaining to me what the opposite side is attempting to achieve, and how I should respond, and how to prepare. With Lisa's consultation and help, I came out of a settlement conference over financial matters with sound outcomes. Then Lisa helped me to avoid a potentially costly trial over parenting plan, and got that part settled in an arbitration in my favor. So now the case is over, I got more residential time with my child, and able to maintain myself financially, all because of Lisa's help, her expertise in family law and her diligence in handling my case have turned things around for my case!

As a young divorcee with minimal assets to split, I was not sure I needed to hire a lawyer for my divorce. I changed my mind once I was consulted by Caitlin. She did not flat out convince me that I needed a lawyer, but she gave me great advice, and kindly answered any of my questions. Things began to feel out of control, and I knew I needed to hire Caitlin. She is assertive, prompt, and experienced. Divorce is hard, and you need an advocate who can read through the lines when you're feeling vulnerable and emotional. Because of her family law experience, Caitlin understood exactly the tactics that were used against me and was always one step ahead for me. She knows the playbook before it happens. The precautions she put into place with the court, protected me and put me in control. Having Caitlin through this gave me confidence I needed, and more importantly, safety from further being taken advantage of. I came out of my divorce fairly, which is everything I could have asked for. I couldn’t have done it with out her!

Was to be a simple relocation motion. David G represented my husband. First error was David did not provide court with prev PP for Judge to review. Did judge know he had 60/40 and joint decision making? No...stepped out of courtroom that first 10 min hearing with alt weekends and a dinner date with ex having 100% control of decision making. Unheard of! David was not a good advocate for us. He encouraged us not to attend the second hearing, missed items placed in PP that was not ruled on that opposing counsel added without discussion which will now cost us time and money in the future, was not timely in returning emails, when spoke via phone he sure let us know how busy he was with other cases. I wish he tended to our case as closely as he did with others. We paid our bill in full due to accuring interest but had many questions not answered. We were charged for phone conversations that David said he wouldn't charge us for. We went with this firm due to the high ratings online. Very disappointed. One could say we our jaded that our case didn't go in our favor but this was to be a simple motion to put in place what had already been through the courts. We feel David was unprepared and not a strong advocate for us.....that is the disappointing part when you pay almost $400/hour you expect to have strong representation. I have reached out multiple times trying to follow up with owners of firm. I want to know if this company feels comfortable with accepting our payment for the service that was provided to us. No response. That is why they no longer represent us.

Lisa Ward at this location is absolutely amazing! She comes very highly recommended. She is a very thorough and responsive lawyer. She is compassionate and at the same time wont give you false hope.
