William D. McCool recently represented me. Mr. McCool is not only an intelligent individual, but is one of good nature and compassion. He truly represents his clients in a fashion that complements the local communities as well as conforms with State Law. I would recommend his services to anyone needing council.

First I would like to thank God for the ability he has instilled in Mr McCool to fight and defend for his clients. Upon the first consultation Mr. McCool was open and straight foward with the pros and cons of my case. He is very confident and professional in his work and that made me feel confident and trust in his counsel. His receptionist is very helpful, polite and her communication skills are exceptional and professionalism is extordinary. I would like to thank the entire team at the McCool Law office for all their help in assisting with my case. The results of my case are beyond what I was expecting. I recommend Mr. Mcool to anyone looking for justice and trustworthy counsel. God bless the law office of McCool Law.

Overall I am quite satisfied with the outcome of my legal issues. It was resolved much more favorably than it could have been without Mr.McCool's help. However, that being said; there are some things I would have preferred as a defendant who has never been in trouble or had to deal with the legal process in the past. Communication is one. I felt there was a lack of communication as to the process, what was expected of me, how long the process would take, what was involved, etc. Mr.McCool's assistant Brenda was extremely helpful with relaying messages, but often responses were also inconsistent. Sometimes receiving them other times not. Due to this, I did not feel truly prepared for what the process entailed. Things seemed to be constantly changing or pushed out, and with a lack of communication as to why. I often felt my case was merely being put on the back burner and treated with less importance. I see now his reasoning for this, however being informed during the process would have elevated a lot of the stress associated with the uncertainty of it all. So never be afraid to ask questions. Client preparation is the other suggestion I would have. Specifically when it came time for me to enter my plea. I was not informed until the day before my court date that I would be remanded into custody until my sentencing date. And I was not in the position to drop everything at a days notice and be remanded to custody for an unspecified amount of time. Luckily Mr.McCool was able to push the date a week out and I was able to take care of my personal affairs. But again, communication and client preparation would have done a great deal. Not only giving me an idea of what to expect but also to elevate the stress caused by the legal process. I say this not as a critisism; as you can see I rated him highly; I say this to encourage others going through this process to take a more active and assertive role in their legal care. Don't be afraid to ask questions as mundane or trivial as they may seem. If you have a question, ask it. And if they can't give you an answer, have them point you to someone who can. You need to take an active role in this process. You'll be much more satisfied and less stressed if you feel you know what's going on and what's going to happen.

so far he is worse than a public defender. or u can say he is worthless. he has all the documents, info. letters ect. to beat this case. slam dunk. Rene let the other party talk for 20 min. Then it was his turn. had his hands in his pants. standing in front of the judge. not sure what he was doing. but what he didn't do was present our case. he rattled on for a few seconds, then shrugged his shoulder and lost the case. so far its a losing battle. He already proved AGAIN that he isn't CAPABLE OF DEFENDING ANY ONE IN THE COURT OF LAW. WELL i guess may be more than one but there is no evidence that i have to show that he is capable of defending people in the court of law. H e has before christmas to pull a rabbit out of a hat. n get on the ball. because he will be looking at another suspension. from trying to be an attorney. I HAD TO PUT A STAR TO GET THIS POSTED> IF U WANT TO LOSE A CASE HE'S THE ONE. I'LL KEEP U POSTED AT CHRISTMAS. ON THIS CASE. HE HAS TWO WEEKS TO SHOW HE CAN DO SOMETHING. BECAUSE HE HASN'T DID ANYTHING IN THE LAST TWO MO. WAIT WAIT WAIT.

Mr. McCool helped us with our son. Mr. McCool was always available to speak with us when needed. He really cared about our son, he wanted to help him. Mr. McCool really defended our son in the court room. He went above and beyond what we asked. Mr. McCool has so much knowledge of the legal system. Very professional and highly respected. We thank Mr. McCool for all he did to help our son and us.

I find it difficult to believe that anyone would write such a horrible review. When talking about Janelle’s personal life- that was traumatic & for the life of me can’t believe that someone would actually use it in a review against Janelle. She was my Children’s’ & my lawyer for years! {not counting her helping me from behind the scenes to get from point A to point B} Janelle & her staff DO CARE & are wonderful people... I was always able to reach someone & in a timely manner. She does have other clients/cases & you can’t obviously reach her 24/7. Impossible. That goes for any lawyer. Especially when she’s in trial. Janelle had followed us through until the end of our lawsuit against CPS & helped my family come to an agreement with our settlement. I watched her depose in my case for over 4 hours straight & she did a fantastic job. She’s clever! There’s no way that we could have managed what we did without her. She’s very honest & straightforward. Her staff is the best! They care so much too. This is speaking from someone who had CPS & this firm in my life from 2007-2012. I can’t think of anything negative to say about this firm. And the legal battle that we had on our hands took a lot of time & work. Janelle involved me in everything that I wanted to be involved in. When my children were deposed, I wasn’t allowed in the room. Understandably. Janelle brought them each bags of snacks & drinks to help keep them comfortable & feel secure with the situation. Thanks CLO for the years of love & devotion. ❤️ We will never forget you for your hard work with & an end to our horrifying case/successful lawsuit! I couldn’t have done it without this firm or Janelle. They are 100% worth it & I feel forever grateful.
