My Name is Carl Washington.I was a victim of a murder of my Moter in 2014 when Mr. Hatfield took over and helped solve the case and has help me in any way he coulf and helped me keep the suspect behind bars. Me being retired in Law Enforcement know how hard sometimes prosecuting someone yakes time, but he had done an excellent job. I dont live in Beckley anymore but my mom did and I truly thank Mr Hatfield for his work on this case.We didnt get what we wanted but we got but enough to be be greatly thankful.Mr Hatfield is an outstanding person who take his job seriously and I just wanna say thank you for what you have done for me and my family.May God continue to bless you both now and forever.

I have known Ben Hatfield my whole life. We don’t align in all of our views however, I still advocated for him during his election and I have not been disappointed. Ben to his core is a good human. He cares so much about this county and if it is within his power to make it safe he will do it. He’s always been fair, kind and respectful. He has no personal agenda other than keeping all of us safe and is one of the few that is elected and actually works for the people who elected him. We are lucky to have him and his family in this city and I am grateful that he is working hard to eliminate crime and repeat offenders. He inherited a back log of cases a mile long and promised to take care of it. He has kept that promise and done even more. Thank you Ben for being who you say you are.

I can't speak highly enough about Mr. Hatfield. The community of Raleigh County are very blessed to have a Prosecuting Attorney that is so focused and dedicated to his job. Not just for the job, but for the people of Raleigh County. I had the great pleasure of working with Mr. Hatfield recently and I can honestly say I've never seen a Prosecuting Attorney so involved and hands-on as Mr. Hatfield. I would give 10 stars if it allowed me, but I can only give 5.

Ben Hatfield, being elected as Prosecuting Attorney is the best thing that has happened to Raleigh County in many years! He is not only a man of his word, he works countless hours and shows how much compassion he has, especially for the kids! Everyone that works in that office works as a team and can't do enough to show that they genuinely care about the people that pass through there. They treat you as if you are part of their own family! They have laughed with us and even cried with us showing me that they all are members of a team that is like no other! Ben is very knowledgeable and skilled in the work he does. He knows the WV laws and codes inside and out! So, thank you Ben Hatfield for showing the citizens of Raleigh County what a real prosecuting attorney does! And thank you and your team for all you have done for myself and my family! You are second to none! And if and when we lose you as our prosecutor here in Raleigh County, I know without a doubt, that the children here will suffer the biggest loss of anyone! I was born in Beckley, WV and grew up around the area. I still keep up with what goes on there. I am amazed at all the great things Prosecuting Attorney Ben Hatfield and his office are accomplishing!

I have worked with Ben Hatfield since he became the Prosecuting Attorney here in Raleigh County. He has been instrumental in creating a team that investigates, advocates and prosecutes cases involving children that is second to none in the state. As the Director of Just For Kids Child Advocacy Center, I cannot say enough of the changes that Mr. Hatfield has made to help protect the children of the county. And as Mr. Hatfield himself has stated, it's the work of his whole office and his willingness to work as a team with law enforcement, child protective services, the school system and others that is building a safer community for us all.
