As a parent, I could not feel more secure than I do living here now. The Raleigh County Prosecutor and his team could not show more of what the safety of our children means to them than they currently do. The consequences for harsh crimes against children are executed with tactful precision. This not only provides a family closure, it provides the child an opportunity to heal through the trauma earlier in their life. This Raleigh County is how you set a tone in a community for safety! Impeccable leadership from Prosecutor Hatfield continues to make an incredible difference in the community’s perception of how crimes in general and against children should be handled. Ben Hatfield saved my life. I was not in a good place and in active addiction. He sent me to prison. And it was exactly what i needed. I was given many chances and opportunities but blew them all. Had he not sent me to prison i believe id be dead. I now work for the same mental health facility i used to attend for treatment. I now help those in the community who are where i once was. And if it wasnt for Mr. Hatfield, I wouldn’t be where I am now. He does whats right and fair. He changed my whole life and for that i am grateful.

Ben, Raleigh County is so fortunate to have you as our Prosecuting Attorney. I know your work ethic and it’s awesome. You have worked so diligently since you took office to take our County back. You and your Assistant Prosecutors have worked countless hours to catch up on all backlog of cases. Let’s not forget your office staff who works hard on the cases as well. The long hours they put in working the cases are unbelievable. Thank you Ben and all the hard workers that are employed at the Raleigh County Prosecutors Office.
