Worst attorney, not only did he not fight in court when he had proof of damages I did not cause, but after court costing me another 7,000 than the original damages, he stated to file bankruptcy... in the state of Wisconsin u can not file bankruptcy with criminal restitution. So after all his years of experience, it seems he doesn't even know what he is talking about .. wouldn't recommend anyone

DO NOT HIRE DOUG FYFE!!! I used him in the past (for a very quick family court issue) & at that time I was impressed at how quickly it was handled. Due to that great experience, I hired Doug for my divorce. I paid a very expensive retainer fee to secure his services. He motioned the court, served my ex-husband, and a few other things. Therefore, I understand why some of the retainer fee was used for services. However, our initial court hearing was only 20 minutes. Shortly after this initial hearing, I started receiving invoices that my expensive retainer fee had been exhausted. There is NO WAY that could have happened with the lack of work he completed. Fast forward, my ex-husband and I came up with an agreement for the divorce and custody/placement. My attorney stated he will draft a stipulation and send to my ex-husband's attorney. My ex stated that his attorney reviewed it and contacted Doug several times about me signing it. When I confronted Doug about this, he told me he has never heard from the other attorney. Over the course of 6 months, I received 2 phone calls from Doug. He never returned the many messages I left him. In fact, what was supposed to be a final divorce hearing- Doug didn't even bother to show up!!! It was clear he only cared about my money rather than supporting me in this process. He then had the audacity to ask the judge for more time!!! Absolutely unacceptable. I fired him and got a new attorney. DO NOT HIRE DOUG!!!! HE WILL DRAG EVERYTHING OUT- ONLY FOR YOUR MONEY, NOT YOUR BEST INTEREST!!!! I made a huge mistake hiring him & had to hire a new attorney to fix it all. I wish I would have read these review prior.

I would not recommend Doug Fyfe. He was in my opinion more interested in helping my x than me. Didn't even get the assets of my x. I asked why and he said, " I'll get it when I put him on the stand . He knew it wouldn't get to that. The 2 attorneys talked to the judge and I was given an altimatum. Biased judge too. They all don't care about making someone disabled live in their car as long as the x and his wife can bring in 8,000 to 12,000 $ a month and keep all but a meger amount. No one would look at me ( 4-men) and then the judge asked me if I was cohersed and he looked at me (finally ) with his neck, head and body leaning forward to me with hate in his eyes. He scared the ______ out of me. What the heck do you think I'll say. AND Why was I asked that question? Then my attorney insisted on doing the paperwork on the decision. Gee who is paying for that. Then he agreed to the start date without asking me. I had a divorce agreement and because of the bias of the room of men it was changed. Leaving Fyfe says to me he can't take you back to court but if his wife died you can because of inheritance. She is 10 yrs older than him. That's not true, I said. They are the same age and her trust goes to her son and my x's trust?? Fyfe then just walked away and left. I would like to know how attorneys can get away with this behavior and how a divorce agreement can be changed. My original attorney said my agreement was good until I die, remarry or my x dies. What in the world is going on in Winnebago county? There is so much more but I'm stopping here. I wish I would have read these before I hired him. My opinion is to run from this firm as fast as you can.
