I reached out to Nicolet Law on a Sunday hoping they could contact me within a week. I received a phone call a few hours later.
Who works on Sundays?! THEY DO!!!
I gave the initial interviewee as much information about the accident as possible and with another 15 minutes a lawyer contacted me to discuss the accident, ON SUNDAY?!
Thank You!!!
Just like every person is different, every case is different. I really believe Nicolet Law gets that.

Never get in contact with someone and never help me fully understand what’s going on. Hold funds without helping me track it all in all was one of the worst lawyers I’ve hired.

I contacted Nicolet Law after a work related auto injury. They were professional from the start. Adam checked in periodically throughout the healing process. Not only to see how I was feeling, but also to make sure I was receiving the proper care, and treatment. I want to give Adam 6 stars for the way he handled the outcome of my settlement as well.. When push comes to shove, and you want it handled professionally, Adam Nicolet is your guy. 💪

My case was a difficult one, but Adam still took it when others turned me down. I fought against the court and multiple insurance investigations to prove the accident was not my fault. Eventually, it was determined that I was innocent. But the insurance company still fought against the verdicts and refused to pay a dime. Somehow, Adam managed to get them to pay just enough that it would erase the majority of my medical debt. He worked with me on his fees so I would have enough for all of the debt to be erased in the end. I cannot give enough praise for all the work Adam and his team did. Thank you for not giving up on me.

In August of 2023, my wife and I were involved in an auto accident in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It was established by the police and insurance companies that it was the fault of the other driver who ran a yellow light and crashed into the side of our car. We were both shaken up and sore but luckily had no life threatening injuries. (My wife, however had significant pain and soreness in her neck and shoulder, which caused her to seek medical attention and eventually led to an MRI and 6 months of physical therapy).
As I said, the accident wasn’t our fault, but I didn’t know how to proceed so the next day I called Nicolet Law in Eau Claire. (I really like their commercials). I was lucky to speak to Braxton Phillips, an attorney at their Eau Claire office. To say the least, Braxton was incredibly helpful. He advised that we see how it went with the insurance companies before officially enlisting their services, but in the meantime he helped guide me through the process.
The other insurance company accepted responsibility and paid all medical expenses and began calling us to get us to sign a release to clear them of further obligation. Again, I called Braxton and followed his advice to wait until treatment was completed and see what was offered. He told us what a reasonable offer might be, and what we could possibly get if we signed up with Nicolet Law, but first I could negotiate with them myself if I felt comfortable doing that. I did negotiate myself, and after receiving a very low-ball offer, we did receive a fair settlement from the insurance company. Were it not for Braxton however, we wouldn’t have had any idea what was fair, and would likely have accepted an offer much less than what was fair.
I’m very grateful and happy that I spoke with Braxton Phillips at Nicolet Law! He guided us through the whole process and helped us know what was fair in terms of a settlement. This all happened without having to sign up with Nicolet Law. I feel like I’ve made a friend, and I’d totally recommend Braxton and Nicolet Law.

In the adrenaline-spiked aftermath of a 35-minute battle with an "at-large, unvaccinated, rescue Pit Bull," who attacked my Golden Retriever and myself, law enforcement recommended I contact a personal injury attorney at once. A bloody mess, uncertain of what all my own injuries may entail, all I cared about was my beloved best friend Red, who was being rushed to the vet by my son, while my sister, an Army Veteran, drove me to ER. She commutes and the first attorneys who came to her mind were the Nicolet Law Accident and Personal Injury Lawyers whose billboards she passed on her way to work (as the first contact for Homeless Vets). That is how I came to know one of the finest humans on the planet - "Sir Braxton Phillips," as I fondly came to call him (out of the Eau Claire Office) for innumerable reasons.
Fast forward past an excruciating, interminable ER experience, which necessitated at least nine x-rays and the super-fun Rabies vaccination series, among other indignities (from which I later became seriously ill), and thusly I began my attorney-client relationship with Mr. Phillips.
I never called him that. I was a mess. My Ironworker husband was building a windfarm in one of the 'I' states, Iowa, I think. He had also recently built America in Indiana and Illinois.
Lest I digress.
There lay my best friend on the kitchen floor when I finally got home - sad, shaved all over, bloody stitches galore...and I lost it.
Red and I convalesced together for a long time, rarely more than a few inches apart. Friends and family brought nourishment, which neither of us was interested in. It was Sir Braxton who brightened those long days and nights. He said leave everything to him, not to worry about anything. He inquired after mine and Red's condition with such sincerity, making a traumatic experience bearable to the extent he was able. The offending animal was quarantined, and ultimately reunited with its owners.
They were less than cooperative and more than unpleasant with Sir Braxton. They feared they would lose their insurance or their dog or both. We couldn't prove it, but the dog had more than one strike.
I was beside myself...my poor dog laid up with more puncture wounds than I was ever able to count - and me with a piece of the Pit's tooth permanently embedded in my finger. Suffice it to say I was angry under the sad and the sick. I wished for the dog to be removed from its owners, so I could enjoy my summers in my golden years without fear of a rogue beast suddenly attacking. But the dog piece is not within the purview of this type of claim.
What could be done was. With courtesy, with kindness, with un-fake-able compassion. With competence, excellence and the kind of work ethic we Midwesterners used to be known for. Professionalism with unimpeachable ethics.
The Pit Bull's owners never saw Sir Braxton coming. Their insurance company had no choice but to yield to his demands on mine and Red's behalf. Sir Braxton even humored me as I struggled to understand how the legal world works and conference-called me with the actual Managing Partner, one of the three brothers, Adam Nicolet, a super nice guy.
This firm is on the map to stay - maybe you watched the Superbowl and saw their ad. They are not kidding around. If you are a victim and have been hurt in some way by someone else's negligence...call Nicolet. They truly do care about the "little guy."
They believe in justice. They will get it for you.
On my honor.
Most Sincerely,
Lynda Berg Olds
P.S. Sir Braxton...you are the best and I will never forget you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
