Google only allow 5 stars, but if I could, I would have given 10 stars. I made a mistake and was looking for an attorney to represent me for a criminal offense. I went to a couple attorney around the Madison area but couldn’t find a good one. A lot of them were all about money instead of trying to help me with my case. Preston Smead from Severson & Smead, LLP sent me a friendly letter indicating who he was and how we would love to represent me. I contacted him right away. Preston was so sincere and was able to squeeze me in right away for an in-person meeting to further discuss my situation. Upon meeting with Preston, he listened to my story and never once judge me. He made me felt very comfortable and repeatedly said that it was a mistake, and that he will do everything in his power to get me the best deal. Although he couldn’t promise anything because it is ultimately up to the judge, he made sure he will put up a good fight on my behalf. Preston really came through for me at the end. He advocated for me in court, came prepared and had a great approach on how to speak up for me. He is intelligent and is very good at what he does. I would recommend Preston to anyone who is seeking a criminal defense attorney. Preston is tough and he will put a good fight for you and help you get the lowest conviction.

Preston Smead is a caring and trustworthy attorney. He took my case with no hesitation. Even though he had never practiced in Milwaukee County. He stood by my side through out the entire case. Even when we both thought it was over and behide us. It continued on and he told me " I will stay with you and not to worry".
