I have 52 years in the "judicial theater" as a court reporter, felony collections officer, and now part-time court bailiff. I appreciate your providing to the public the fact that even if they don't agree with the law, that you emphasize "That's the way it happens to be." Juries are fickle, as you know, and, when you and the defendant try the case, you roll the dice. Your advice is right on: Avoid and retreat from the initial conflict if at all possible and use deadly force only to save serious injury or death to yourself or innocent others.

Listened to a number of USCCA broadcasts with Tom. Down to earth advise for many practical CCA and self-defense questions. He typical will say, "...this is how it is ...." No pie in the sky, just straight answers about the "real world," at least the legal world and what will or will not happen.

Great resource for information. I know Tom through the videos he has participated in for the USCCA. Although not in my state, Tom Grieve offers straight forward, clear and understandable explanations to those of us who don't understand "Legalese". I have worked with many attorneys over the years from personal to business matters. It is clear to me why Grieve Law is the biggest defense firm in the state of Wisconsin.
