Thank you to Attorney Michael Hayes for getting my 7th offense OWI dismissed in September 2021. In 2017 I was arrested for operating under the influence of my prescription medication. The state troopers looked at my prior convictions but not at the roadside situation & facts. Mr. Hayes proved to the Judge and DA that I was in fact not impaired. Now that this looming cloud of dread has been lifted, I can finally live my life and move forward. My gratitude to Attorney Michael Hayes is enormous, words can’t fully express. Mr. Hayes and I put in years of hard work challenging every, I mean every, aspect of the seventh offense OWI case against me. His cross examination of the trooper who stopped and arrested me was in fact like you see in the movies as he broke down every, not just one, but every statement the arresting officer made and proved it all to be false. Attorney Hayes uncovered and then highlighted every fact that supported my innocence, and from the start of the case he firmly believed in my innocence. He kept telling me that if we can show the Judge the unfairness of the arrest, the Judge would rule in our favor and dismiss the case. When the Judge said the trooper didn’t have the right to arrest me, the DA moved to dismiss the OWI 7th. This was one of the happiest days of my life. I’m not sure anyone would’ve ever fully believed I was innocent if Mr. Hayes wasn’t there to prove it as it was my word against the police til he took my case.

Attorney Hayes is a great lawyer,he knows the law very well.I had a D.U.I. on 3/19/2019.He used the law to our advantage,I was very impressed and satisfied with the out come of my court appearance.The results were exactly what he said they would be. The judge ruled no probable cause, which led to complete dismissal of the criminal operating under the influence case. Great result. Great guy to work with. Highly recommended.

Mike did an amazing job getting my traffic ticket reduced. I struggled to find anyone who would service the East Troy/Eagle/North Prarie area so I'm glad I found him. His fees were very reasonable compared to others. He also made the entire process extremely easy. I took a photo of the ticket and emailed it to him. Credit card over the phone or check by mail. Never had to go to court. Mailed in my fine when it was done. The ticket was reduced to 0 points from 3 and was changed from a moving violation to something else. I was also concerned about my insurance increasing $50/year for the next 5 years ago which made this worthwhile.

I was really afraid my 3rd offense OWI case would result in lengthy incarceration, the milwaukee district attorney originally wanted 7 months, then changed the recommendation to 5 months of incarceration. Attorney Hayes was able to arrange in February 2021 for the case to be concluded with 7 days of incarceration in jail followed by 81 days on electronic monitoring at home, with the ability to go to work everyday also watch my children. He really knows how to minimize the impact of a case like this and I highly recommend attorney Hayes.

I can not be more thrilled with the outcome of my OWI (Operating Under the Influence) charge in Ozaukee County. My case was very complex and unique, and Mike Hayes was 100 percent committed to my defense. My case had started over two years ago, and we eventually reached the point of a jury trial. He did an unbelievable job in representing me at trial, and when the jury walked back into the room, it was a unanimous decision of NOT GUILTY. The verdict of NOT GUILTY was such a relief as this verdict is not common in Ozaukee County. I choose the right man for the job and I would highly recommend him for any traffic matter and especially any charge of Operating Under the Influence.

While in Milwaukee, I received a speeding ticket. Since I was from out of town I was not familiar with how to deal with this situation. I contacted Michael, he immediately put me at ease with his knowledge and assurance that everything would be taken care of. I was devastated when I got my 2nd OWI within 2 years. I hired a lawyer with my 1st OWI as it was a .09 and I tried to fight it. I only wish I had talked to Michael back then. He is very knowledgeable in all things OWI. He gives you all the different scenarios of outcomes and is honest and reliable. The lawyer I got with my first OWI was hardly ever reachable after I paid him. Michael ALWAYS returned my phone calls and really cared about my case. He fought to have my OWI reduced to 15 days on completion of the TAD program. He even fought for me to get the electronic monitoring as I have children and 2 jobs. When I was finally able to get electronic monitoring my county suspended it and told me I had to serve my time in jail. Michael fought to have my sentencing delayed and put in 2 motions to the court. I ended up being able to get the electronic monitoring because of that and didn't have to sit in jail at all. I am so grateful to him. If you are considering your options he is the best!

Michael Hayes on numerous occasions has been able to get the charges dropped or reduced significantly. Had I used someone else I would be paying much higher insurance premiums as well as losing points on my license resulting in me paying thousands of dollars more over a long period of time. I've had friends I've referred to him that have caused them to go from sad to very happy. Just like the Porsche commercial says "Nothing else comes close" and the other one saying "There is no substitute" definitely describes Michael Hayes. Michael Hayes is professional, brilliant, accurate and very easy to deal with. He really cares about each and every case and I feel this is why he is so effective. His fees are very reasonable and he is worth every single cent. There are other attorneys out there that could care less about you and are in it only for the money. Not only is he the best attorney that you will ever find he is extremely funny, polite and easy to talk to. I hate to think of how my lifestyle would be today had I hired another attorney.

While on my way from Downtown Milwaukee to my residence in Dodge county, I was stopped for deviation from the designated lane. I was given 4 tickets, including possession of THC (extremely small amount). My breath test was over .15 so I would have had to install an ignition interlock device for 1 year which would have been inconvenient and expensive. Attorney Michael Hayes was able to conclude the case with dismissal of the THC ticket and no IID order. I could not have asked for more. Based on the result, his timely communication and his expertise, I highly recommend Attorney Michael Hayes
