Over the past 30 years, in a prior professional capacity, I had the opportunity to work with literally hundreds of attorney’s. Now that I am retired and reside in S.E. Wisconsin I found myself requiring the services of an attorney well versed in employment law. I contacted over a dozen firms in the Milwaukee/Madison/S.E. Wisconsin area and was fortunate to have found Peter Fox. From the time I first spoke to Peter until the conclusion of my case, which included going to the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th District, I can honestly say I couldn’t have asked for better representation. Things went bad at work, I'm middle aged and close to retirement, Act 10 sent the union packing and I was without the representation I relied on for most of my working life. When your employer has deep pockets and management wants to replace fair play with arbitrary rules, you feel as if you're back on the playground, nose to nose, with the school yard bully. In 2005, I was charged with a crime that was classified as a class C felony. Jeff was referred to us by a close childhood friend. When I met with Jeff for the first time, I didn't know what to expect. The details of the what I was charged with were difficult and embarrassing to talk to a stranger about. I advised Jeff that I wasn't guilty of what I was being charged with. Jeff's interaction with me was professional and nonjudgmental. My case went before a jury. Jeff was so thorough that I personally felt that if I were found guilty, there wasn't anything that I could fault Jeff for not doing. Attorney Jensen finds a way to make an argument. He was brilliant with an OWI case I had two years ago. I called several OWI attorneys before a business partner referred Jeff to me. All other attorneys basically said I would get convicted. After talking with Jeff and Jeff's review of the police report, Jeff came up with an argument based on the fourth Amendment of probable cause. Attorney Jensen eventually convinced the prosecuting attorney to amend the OWI charge to a Reckless Driving. I followed his lead every step of the way. He see things very differently than most attorneys and found a way to make it happen.
