We had to hire a criminal lawyer for our son and really had no idea who to hire. We found Ben Van Severen's website and I called him. He personally talks with you and alleviates some of your fears. He always answers your questions promptly. He is very knowledgeable and presents a persuasive presentation to the judge at sentencing. You can tell he has done his research. We could not have asked for a better outcome. We would hire him again in a minute but certainly hope we never have to!

I hired Atty Van Severen for a criminal case for my son he did an excellent job. He is very down to earth and very thorough. Atty Van Severen was very upfront and was very efficient.

After leaving a sports bar late at night I was pulled over by a suburban Milwaukee police officer. The officer said he saw me pull out of the parking lot as he was traveling in the opposite direction. He quickly made a U-turn, followed my car and pulled me over. He claims I crossed the 'fog line', twice. Ben obtained a copy of the police report and video from the squad car. The video showed there was no reason to pull me over. Ben successfully filed a Motion. to Suppress evidence due to improper stop. As a result, all charges against me were dropped.

He gave a very fair and professional representation and was able to reason with the judge and we ended up receiving exactly what we requested. He is very level headed and punctual. He is very understanding and helpful and is always very diligent in being sure his clients are in the loop with what is going on.

Ben is a great guy. He takes time to answer questions and piut your mind at ease. He definitely gets my recommendation!!!

People today want it all but can't get it and cry. Ben Van Severen delivers it all. I hired him from seven states away and he made me feel like I was his only client. Calls that weren't answered were returned promptly, he emailed regularly and kept me updated. He was honest about the chances and did an excellent job educating me about the process. Despite how personable he was and easy to communicate with I believe that the more important factors are that 1) he has an excellent grasp of the law and 2) really seems to know the system. Ben was the attorney on my son case. With my first conversation with Ben he was very honest about the case. Ben meet with myself and eventually my son and other family members, he was very down to earth. My son has a strong personality that I didn't think Ben could match but he proved me wrong he was very humble. I'll never forget at his sentencing my family gathered in a huddle to pray and Ben was right there holding the hand of one of our family members hand praying with us as a family.

Don't let his youth fool you. He is every bit as good as any weathered Attorney. He has such a great drive to meet his client's needs. I was his client and although the odds did not seem to be in my favor, he gave his all in trial with what we had to work with and won! The jury only deliverated for 45 minutes too. Aside from his ability to be a great attorney, he is very personable and and all around great guy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding criminal defense attorney,
